I and my lovely daughter-in-law both have a full set of the coloured ceramic ramekins, and I have a selection of shallow & deep cheese / tapas dishes.
Re Nutella, when my boys were young they had a series of Asterix designs which were much loved and DS1 still has in his bachelor pad!
I had a good haul of winter festival presents today: a kit to make a hooked-rug cushion cover, an AA countryside walks set and the same for pub walks/cycles, and a Gin board game. All BNWT from the Childrens Society bookshop and with 5 paperbacks for me the lot was £21. I also found a brand new wool Hobbs jumper dress in Save The Children which was £7.50.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

That would be me. My particular weakness is glass: I bought six little Spanish-style desserts from L!dl the other week because the glass pots reminded me of dwarf milk bottles. I have some pale blue ceramic yogurt pots from France years ago which I'm also hanging on to. The glass dessert pots are great for holding pens or items of makeup.Miró said:
Does anyone else have a total inability to dispose of any ceramic or glass bowls/dishes/pots that things like yogurt, pate etc come in? I have cupboards full of the blooming' things. My particular failings are 1. a range of yogurt pots that come in pretty shades of pink, blue, yellow, cream and red and 2. Charlie Bigham dishes in cream

Bon Mamman jam jars are my current weakness. I use them to store spices and stock cubes.
It's rare in Canada to get glass or ceramic pots of yogurt, etc. I will admit to bringing home a clay dish that held a ready made creme caramel from NYC and a stone wear type jar home from Spain because it's the right size for makeup brushes.
Nutella, now there's a story there. It was my number one craving during my second pregnancy. Had a dozen glasses from them. Then when the boys were growing up Cheese Whiz (a Canadian Cheddar spread) did glasses with the NHL team logos on them. Yup, they nagged until I had bought the complete set.9 -

Had a trot around the 3 chazza shops open in Thirsk on Sunday. Picked up 5 white porcelain mugs with a raised banding pattern for £6.50. Will now ‘retire’ my boring everyday Ikea mugs for the time being. Also got a gorgeous black, heavy silk, Austin Reed shirt for £6 in the Herriot shop.4

Half my Saturday haul was from Bedale car boot sale (in the morning), the rest was from Thirsk which opens at 1pm (and charges £1 admission).Miró said:

Bonne Maman jars always add a bit of class.
I have some of the L!dl own-brand ones which are similar but I also collect plastic peanut butter jars because they are lighter and quieter to take to the packaging-free shop for refills of dry goods.
Incidentally - and I may have mentioned it already - if you save your herb or spice jars and refill them at a packaging-free shop, you will get cheaper, fresher spices because the shop is turning over a relatively small stock and you aren't paying for the weight of the glass.
In an attempt at being on topic, I noticed Sue Ryder locally has a sale.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
