does it have an interior button to keep the inner bit in the right place?? (hope that makes sense)
if so then a popper wouldn't be a problem as you have a solid connect with the inner button. and the outer ones could just be for show.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I went to Sue Ryder today and bought a F&F denim knee length skirt, a M&S Collection navy blue long sleeved top and then I bought a red New Look dress from Mind. It all came to £14.50.:)5

Wasn't visible from the street on my jolly by....
I was telling my husband all about it in the bakery LOL
One small purchase, 1 book, a quick read size, £1 from Yorkshire Cancer Charity.
I went in search of large pots, waste paper baskets etc for a decorative pot for my latest houseplant addition but nothing forthcoming.11 -
I popped into my favourite chazzer in Rochford yesterday morning me came out with some beautiful cushions, tights, books, a kiddies make-up and drawing set for £1 and 2 dresses at just £4 each. I plan to wear this little beauty (BNWT, originally £68 and tall even for me so I'm going to don my highest heels) in 51 weeks time when I am 50:
I then dropped by a more obscure chaz where everything seemed to be just 50p: giant (600ml) mugs, a replacement plate in the same pattern as my own, a 1000-piece jigsaw, and a child's sewing machine for my little niece for £2. I spent about £22 in all yesterday but got my money's worth! No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.13 -

3 letters re the dress:
WOW!
FAB!6 -
@Rosa_Damascena - lovely dress and Happy Birthday for last week from me too.
I went back to the Age UK shop yesterday on the basis that I should keep an eye on this week's lucky locations and snapped up a hardback copy of The Testaments by Margaret Atwood, £1.49, and a hardback copy of Alan Bennett's Keeping On Keeping On for £3.99. Both books are in such good condition that I doubt they've even been read."She could squeeze a nickel until the buffalo pooped."

That’s such a gorgeous dress @Rosa_Damascena!
I’ve not had much time for sashaying around the chazzers recently, so have no great bargains to report. I did however get a few £1 items that have been on my wish list for a while : a Tala non stick cake tin (the shape used to make a smallish sponge flan base), four matching cream pottery houseplant pots, one of those ‘shrinking’ bread savers which collapse down further as you cut each slice off the loaf, and two large oblong rattan storage baskets in perfect condition and just the right size for their intended spot, and a cream china sugar storage jar to match my existing set of tea, coffee and (broken) sugar jars. Oh, and for £3 a little bamboo dressing table stool to match the dressing table I bought for my daughter the other week.9 -
Have a delivery of stuff to the chazza today so will no doubt have a nosey. Not that I need anything at all of course. I shall be sending out power brain waves when I get there and would like everyone to respond with "step away from the scarves!!"
