I think a good manager knows her customers. In the one where I work books are 3 for £1 and are mostly donated back so sold more than once. Jigsaw puzzles at a £1 and often re donated but changed over periodically with others from our warehouse to keep the stock fresh. Dresses, skirts and trousers are £1. This is because in our very small town our customers wouldn't pay more for these and they would be left on the rack. We are the only CS in this town but part of a local hospice chain of shops in the area so donations are plentiful and turnover is excellent. All that clutter used to be money12

Bit of a
and
sort of week-end chazza-wise! Sunday's purchase of a pair of b/n black leather ballerina stylee flat shoes priced at £8 were a failure....seemed comfy in the shop but were less so when I got them home so they will be going back to the CRUK shop in Northallerton. Today, stopped off in Harrogate for a nosy around and in the Red Cross shop I got a pair of Escada jeans in a colour that looks either purple or electric blue depending on the light, priced at £8 and appear to be b/n.

A Wallis summer dress with thickish shoulder straps in shades of lime green and turquoise. VGC and fits perfectly. £5.00 Lighthouse.
A M&S linen mix dress with V back & front, short sleeves and patch pockets. Quite a heavy weight fabric. In peacock green with a lime green under colour - I thought this was a stain at first. VGC £2.00 Air Ambulance. I can see me wearing this in winter too, with a toning cardigan, thick tights and ankle boots.6 -

I am really appreciating wrapping up in my chaser bargain jumpers and shawls, at £1-2 each they are paying for themselves in saved energy.I look like the Michelin woman but I don't care.No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.5 -
The Karen Millen jumpera were much too tight as I suspected they would be so they can go to my DD. I did also bought a Wallis blouse grey with silver feathers VGC £3.50 which fits and looks lovely so will be satisfied with that. All that clutter used to be money6
