I have my flu jab tomorrow afternoon and I am going to look in a few charity shops beforehand.:)No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.3 -
I have 3 brothers, 2 older (5 & 3 years older) and the other 7 years younger. I also had 2 girl cousins & we all had clothes passed down but for wellies / aran sweaters / cagoules, anything temporarily mine always had 3 previous owners and then another after me, so I was brought up with not-new clothes 😊2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

I know we're getting off topic but a very good friend of mine who was 15 years older than me said of his childhood years ' first up, best dressed'.
Regarding my earlier posts regarding my childhood, my 13 year younger sister and I are incredibly close.

I found a gorgeous Top Shop ivory faux fur long jacket at the weekend - BNWT that said £89 but reduced to £5. I also found a couple of bn books on my Christmas shopping list so that's just about done too.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

I had £57 in my purse and wanted to buy me, my husband and my dog a few xmas presents to put under the tree. I went into a charity shop and bought two thick winter zip up jumpers and a Nike black winter hat for my husband. I got my dog three teddy bears to play with. I got myself some stretch blue jeans, a men's large brown t-shirt to wear in bed or around the house and a navy M&S collection blouse. I also got a roll of wrapping paper.
Oh yes. I did buy myself a Gelert black zip up jacket but I'm going to wear that before Christmas and not wrap it up.
I did see a Ralph Lauren zip up top for £15, but it was XXL and my husband isn't! I did see a very nice grey coat with faux fur around the collar, but it was a size12 and looked too small for me
I have some money left so I'm going to look in a few charity shops on Leigh Broadway before my flu jab later. I wanted to get my husband a pair of boots if I can. I have £17 left.:)2025 GOALS

If anyone can get some boots for £17, you can!4 -
re older siblings and hand me downs. Yup, me too. Hand me downs from my three brothers other than the dresses I had for school or church and the shoes I wore for special occasions (school was not special so if my brothers' shoes fit then that was fine.)
It was bizarre when at some point I got a hand me down dress from one of my numerous older female cousins. I think I refused to wear it as it was just too odd to me.
And my husband wonders sometimes why I don't dress up very feminine!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Treated myself to some new trousers and a lovely soft bum-length cardi. It says it’s lambswool but it isn’t cos lambswool makes my skin itch, and I could just crawl into this and have a sleep 😍
I'm unsure about my spine, I think it's holding me back.9 -
Love the tweedy trousers, YBE.
I'm in the bus home but am running through my footwear wardrobe to see what I'd wear with them.
I think brogues.5
