I bought a Next tunic on Tuesday, £4.00 hospice.
And yesterday these leather shoes, made in Spain, £8.00
BNWT Lazy Jacks long sweatshirt £6.00.
Fat Face dress with pockets £5.00
All from Lighthouse charity
And Jack Wolfskin hat £1.00 Mencap
Lazy Jacks seem to be a less expensive Seasalt-type brand from Devon.
Googling HB Espana shoes, similar pair (but not with part leather soles) retail around £125 - £135 but are half price in the sale.8 -
Ooh a good haul @pollycat. I'd have all those things too. Except the hat - my hair doesn't like a hat, it goes flat and greasy in a new york minute if I put a hat on or a hood up :shrug:I'm unsure about my spine, I think it's holding me back.3

New air ambulance chazza opened this week. Popped in after work and got my first item in months. A BNWT knee length checked winter skirt from Next. Not bad for £4. Will dig out my thick winter tights to wear with it.
They had an Abercrombie and finch jacket for £4, immaculate condition but sadly way too small for me. Excellent bargain for someone.6 -
Off to google Lazy Jack - like that top!!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I did try and look for the Air Ambulance charity shop in Cardiff yesterday, but google was sending us all over the place and then it started to rain so I gave it a miss. I will probably get my charity shop fix one day next week at a local to me shop.:)3

Inspired, I finally ventured into St Vincent's on my way out of town in the late afternoon. Strange place, very jostick-y, and the prices weren't great although they do take cards. No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.3 -
Day out in a nearby city yesterday.
Bought:
a pair of grey M&S leggings in VGC 50p from Children's Society
a pair of Indigo (M&S) navy dressy leggings, heavy peach skin fabric, look unworn £4.00 RSPCAa Ashwood leather coat in unworn condition. Dark burgundy. Just above knee length on me. Bizarrely, reduced from £10.00 to £5.00. Lighthouse charity.
So... change from a tenner. 👍13 -
Ooh @Pollycat you’re having lots of lovely leather bargains I’m v envious.
over the last week:
Mothercare Nanu buggy for DGS weekly stay £12 has the hood, rain cover etc.
Black Lee Cooper T-shirt £2
Black Sketchers T-shirt £2
White Karrimore PE top £2
2 blue and white medium sized Cornishware style plates one with three blue stripes, the other with two £1 rack.
A Topshop denim dress with short sleeves and big patch pockets on the skirt £6. It’s quite short so I’ll wear it as a tunic over skinny jeans, leggings or thick tights.7
