2nd day of no spend and haven't needed the central heating on for a couple of days. Washed the xmas table cloth and cushion covers at 20 degrees on a short wash and they're currently on the line blowing in the breeze.

Hey everyone! im an old moneysaver but back to work on clearing some debt.
I'm in please for January no spend! I am aiming for 25 daysCurrent Mortgage balance - £363,785.35/£420,000 (highest point Oct 2022).2 -
NSD yesterday. Went for a drive earlier somewhere we don't usually go with the intention of going for a walk but had to pay for parking (£2.10). I don't think having to spend is good for me because I then bought a budget book (£4) and two heavily reduced cheese truckles in M&S (£5 to 61p). We do eat masses of cheese, so I suppose in the long run it's a saving...Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,984.78/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,341.434

A second NSD. All meals from stores, and I can start to see gaps appearing now. Spent most of the day cooking (and washing up
). I made a curry in the SC, a chicken pie (a cheat one, using tins of chicken in white wine sauce from stores - I won't be replacing those, but the pie was ok, we had some of it for dinner), 15 mince pies to use up the last of the mincemeat, 12 small fruit pies and a large lemon meringue pie. I have frozen some of the mince pies and small fruit pies, and I will freeze some of the curry when it is cool. The lemon meringue pie will do for desserts for the rest of the week.
I ordered (and paid for) a carpet cleaner at the end of December, and it came today. I got it heavily reduced in the sale, and it will be cheaper than the alternative, getting someone in to clean my old and somewhat grubby carpets, which are in need of a good clean. I am still awaiting another delivery, just a small one, a case for the tablet I bought for one of my grand daughters for Christmas. These items were ordered and paid for well before the end of December (and would probably have arrived sooner had it not been for the extra holiday days resulting from Xmas falling over a weekend), so I think it is fair enough not counting them as 'January' spends.I may have to do a small shop tomorrow.2 -

Another NSD yesterday but as we only went for a walk there was no temptation. I do have a couple of items that I ordered in December that I’m waiting to be delivered.
I did my monthly bank reconciliation yesterday and paid off my credit cards and will try not to use them in January.Today I will probably buy milk, mushrooms and maybe a pepper or pack of peppers.2 -
Well I'll need to do a lot of NSD this month as I'll have a huge vet bill to pay. Not complaining as doggy is my best friend.Magnolia Stellata1

Well I am failing at this! I popped into town to get a 9V battery from Poundland (for my smoke alarm), a new belt and some salad.
I ended up with 3 belts, a pair of Chelsea boots (bargain at £6), fruit, salad, battery, 3 lipsticks and a diary. Total cost £14.

Another NSD, so 3 / 3 for me so far. I had thought of doing a bit of shopping today, but decided it could wait for a couple more days.
