It's actually pretty immediate - well 10 minutes. We needed to change some details on my listing in the summer, and they appeared on the app 10 minutes after the EA told me the listing was updated on their end.0

People were enquiring on how long a property needs to be removed from Rightmove before it can appear again as a new listing. It's 13 weeks, definitely not 10 minutes.....0 -
Oh sorry, my misunderstanding.1

And you don't get a Rightmove alert for these properties which is annoying.Scotbot said:
If went back on less than 13 weeks (think it's 13 but there is a fixed limit) after it first went on it is counted as the same listing.RS2OOO said:
Interesting. After 2nd lot of buyers pulled out of mine and it went back on it was on bottom of the last page. Mentioned this to agent and they said nothing they could do about it due to strict RM rules.Sunsaru said:
Simple. Delete the old listing, create new one. New one has a new unique reference and can't be tracked by things like property log etc.RS2OOO said:Most of the ones "newly listed" today within my search area were listed in July/August and marked as SSTC.
I don't know how they manage to delete all records of them being previously listed. They even have the original summer garden photos in full flower.0 -
What % did they drop by?AFF8879 said:I completed on my new house a couple of weeks ago but I still have the alert set up - it’s very broad (2-3 beds, detached/semi/terraced, no price range set) within Basingstoke/Andover and surrounding villages - only 10 new listings, of which 2 were reductions of existing properties (both overpriced new build terraces). My parents are hoping to move nearby next year but I think they are going to be disappointed in how little is available, especially in their price range, unless the market really starts to ramp up soon.0 -
This is a great thread for genuine money savers and bargain seekers.....

Some of the Aberdeen prices must be back to late 90`s early 2000`s prices? Some of the London reductions are sadly still asking silly silly prices, don`t know whether to laugh or cry at some of them!0 -
It's called confirmation bias Crashy. Only looking for the evidence that supports one's hypothesis.Crashy_Time said:This is a great thread for genuine money savers and bargain seekers.....

Mine went on the market on Boxing Day and now have ten viewings booked for the viewing day next week. Nothing in my preferred area has come on the market yet.jenni_fer said:No! Not even our own though which is odd.2 -

I don't get it. The houses that came on, on boxing Day looked like the pictures were taken at least a month ago....
Why not list it when it was ready? What is this waiting for one day when the agents are all closed about?
Any serious buyer goes on daily and knows what's about and when.1
