Me too! 😂propertyhunter said:Yeah, apparently there are metrics on Rightmove that makes it worthwhile for the EA to list it, even if its already sold. I've seen it happen for properties I have seen "off-market".
Also, regarding missing the top spot on RM and getting lost in all the new listings - this is not going to happen. I get email alerts. I don't miss a thing. And any serious and obsessive buyer will check the app religiously. I can't wait to find a house so I can get work done during the day and delete the app!
I bet you also notice the ones that come back to market, usually I think… these photos look familiar 🧐…0 -

Don't kid yourself that you'll be free of searching once you buy your house. Four years on I'm still checking RM and I have no intention of moving again!

No we have not, recent events are unheard of for most people living just now, the property market is kept alive by record low interest rates and stunts like the SDH plus a VERY generous (and risky if bond markets don`t play ball) amount of Furlough (which won`t be so generous next time around IMO)Slithery said:
We've had lockdowns for years now. None of them have ever slowed the property market.Crashy_Time said:there are more lockdowns looming and people have probably got more on their mind now than browsing property.0 -
PropertyLog is your friend when trying to find out if an area is over-hyped or not IMO.0

There won't be another round of furlough because it isn't necessary.Crashy_Time said:

You really are a strange person wishing economic misery on thousands of people!0 -
Has anyone actually seen a flood of new listings today? I've had one through my Rightmove alerts, and it was 'so-so'.

No.propertyhunter said:Has anyone actually seen a flood of new listings today? I've had one through my Rightmove alerts, and it was 'so-so'.
Three properties which were massively over enthusiastic with their asking prices have been dropped in price, although they are still not at realistic prices, but no new properties on the market.1 -
I saw a couple, both chancers trying for silly money.propertyhunter said:Has anyone actually seen a flood of new listings today? I've had one through my Rightmove alerts, and it was 'so-so'.

Yes about 50 properties/emails in my search criteria and about another 100 on the site outside of my criteria…propertyhunter said:Has anyone actually seen a flood of new listings today? I've had one through my Rightmove alerts, and it was 'so-so'.
