Anyone else joining the Boxing Day Hype?

We've been convinced by our Estate Agent that being part of the 'busiest day of the year' is worthwhile and will be (re)listing our property on Boxing Day. I'm sceptical, especially as I feel another set of restrictions is coming, but going along with it for now.
Anyone else in this position? Interested to hear other stories!
This is our third attempt at moving....almost listed 2 years ago in Feb but held off due to impending COVID, listed Jan last year...accepted an offer and had one accepted only to lose the onward purchase at the point of exchange in July...
Hoping 2022 will be our year!

I'll post the same thing that I do every year when this topic comes up...
It's the busiest day of the year for all websites, as people get new tech for Christmas and log into accounts on new devices and reinstall all of their applications. There are also more people off work and thus have more free time than usual. This predictable increase in internet traffic in no way corresponds to an increase of procedable buyers, no matter how the EA words it.15 -
I was told to wait until starting the process to buy.0

Pointless. They're (nearly) all closed, along with solicitors.
Unless you're very minimalistic, I think it's better to view once all the Christmas paraphernalia is gone too.
Just put it on in the New Year

I was told by the estate agent not to put any offers in until after the new year.jenni_fer said:

More restrictions obviously on the way IMO, the price you list at is more important in securing a sale than the day of the year as people are checking out things online 24/7 365 days a year nowadays.0

So what if they are? None of the previous restrictions have either slowed the market or restricted sales or movement in any way.

My property will go live on the property portals on Boxing Day, with a view to hopefully getting some viewings and under offer whilst people are off during the Christmas period. Hopefully I will be in a decent position when any new property comes on the market in the New Year. I had my property under offer during the stamp duty holiday but kept being outbid on the onward purchase. So hoping 2022 goes a bit better.
Have also just accepted an offer on my rental property so people are still looking.
