A larger update for me this month £960.61 saved this month. This is a mixture of side hustle and actually budgeting and not wasting money.I got promoted so next months pay will be increased. Hoping to just bank the payrise every month.3

#20 in with £4,850 for August, and a revised £4,600 for July after a end-of-the-month sweep up. Struggling with an insane amount of travel at work at the moment, but at least it means my personal expenditure is very low!

No 54 with £683.82 for July. Have moved some money around for better interest rates and have two regular savers maturing this month so should be closer to my goal from these.
Hope you are all ok, and sending my best wishes to @slowlyfading xSave £12k in 2022 #54 reporting for duty4 -
No 56 with a very belated update for the last few months, added via form. I was incredibly busy with work and then I had a stroke a few weeks ago, following which it has been a whirlwind of tests, waiting for results and thankfully not needing to be in work at present. Fingers crossed I am hoping the impact is minimal, but it has lead to some major rethink of life/work as a result. Keeping with the target for now, although I am behind schedule quite a bit. I had a pay rise in May which I am automatically saving at the moment, plus a monthly payment of bonus as well which I hope to also add to my savings once I know what's what with life and work!May, June and July are therefore £1,241.90, £1,196.06 and £1,197.55.Hope all are well and thanks again to SF for keeping this updated for us.SSS

His left side was affected. For about a week, I had to help dress him and do up all of his buttons, until he relearnt what to do. He kept putting his had in his dinner without realising it. I had to teach him to put on a ruck-sac again. It does make you reevaluate life, especially the work life balance, my husband was already retired but I still work - now only part-time.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

I am very lucky as I have had minimal physical impact apart from being exhausted. I may have some minor speech/processing issues which I am hoping will improve, but I may not know the extent of this until I am back at work next week. Not what I expected at 51 with minimal risk factors (don't smoke, not overweight, exercise, only drink moderately, no diabetes /blood pressure/cholesterol issues) hence the re-evaluation of life - which is never a bad thing!
So glad you're hubby has made a near-full recovery and hope his health continues that way, no doubt your love and care got him through it. Xx3 -
