  • Hello all,

Its #51 here, I've been a bit 'head in the sand' and enjoying the summer. SF - glad to hear your on the mend. @geoffers4 exciting news on deciding on your retirement date. My OH is a bit older than me and he took semi retirement last year and he's loving it. He still works 2 days a week and this is still working for him & us!

I feel like I am the Queen bee that's just about keeping her hive above water. This month (August) I have enjoyed some stock market gains & seeing the various pots growing instead of shrinking. So pleased to report £1909.20 and finally am free from paying off an outstanding credit card bill but still feeling wobbly financially.

#22 reporting £1612.45 for August. I've managed to tuck extra little bits away by shaving my grocery budget, although how much longer I can maintain that with spiralling prices, I've no idea

Hope everyone is doing ok and surviving these tough times

Hello everyone - it’s been an expensive summer, but I’ve managed to rebudget a bit to get savings back to a level that might meet the target by the end of the year.

I’ll be finishing up at my current workplace at the end of September. Starting a new job with a bit of a pay boost so things should hopefully pick up for the final few months. Fingers crossed it won’t be swallowed up by massive energy bills!

      August - £1150

#12 reporting £1,425 for August - surprised at this what with family staying, holidays and costs rising.  Fingers crossed it continues!  Will submit form.

#32 here with £300 July payment. Been away to South America all summer so that’s where most of my savings have gone. Got engaged! Now I’ve got a wedding to save for too 😬. Thanks for slowlyfading for managing x
