#9 declaring for August.  I've lost track with moving house but savings have now plummeted to £18.59.  Moving house wiped them mostly out so now to rebuild!

#32 here with £300 July payment. Been away to South America all summer so that’s where most of my savings have gone. Got engaged! Now I’ve got a wedding to save for too 😬. Thanks for slowlyfading for managing x
Ooh 👏🏾 managed to get an unexpected windfall so putting £283 in extra for July. Thus tallying up to £583. Very back to front way of doing it, I apologise. Thanks slowlyfading x

  • Belatedly reporting £1,947 for August, mainly £1,200 from the eventual sale of my old car.

Spent more time moving money around to try to get the best interest rates available but now thinking Zopa and their boosted pots is the way to go other than my monthly savers. That additional 0.25% I may be able to generate is not going to make that much of a difference for the level of savings I have!

Thanks @slowlyfading for the spreadsheet update  :)

#5 reporting in for August. I managed to save £1,501 for this month (form updated) which means I am still on target for the year (66%). My repairs & replacements pot this time went down £100 this month, as £450 went out to cover the car service, MOT and car insurance (otherwise it would have been a £350 increase). I'm having some roof work being done in October, so a chunk more will be going out around then, plus I'm hoping to have more planned works done this year (though finding time to get quotes is difficult).
