Updating for Feb, only £346.86 as my expenses had not been paid. Thankfully they've just come in so will be back on track for March!

Sorry for the delay in updating. I hope I've got everyone added and the spreadsheet is now up to date.

Long COVID, plus work and family juggling means that I am behind in everything. Appreciate @s@Suffolk_lass giving me a nudge :)
Thank you for my number 😊

Exciting, I’m in the same boat, moving into a new build but continuing to save. My total for savings after house move expenses by then of the year is £3k
Ooh, good luck! Do you have an estimate build completion?

I’m looking at new builds as well… there’s very little coming on the market in the area I’m buying, but about 7 new build development so they seem to be more reasonably/competitively priced. A plot I really like is going to come available on Thursday/Friday this week apparently, but the developer said they’ve got 4 people wanting to buy who are proceedable, so it will be first come first served on the phone. If it doesn’t work out, it’ll be okay as other things will come up, but I really hope I can manage to nab this one!
Sorry only seeing this now, my completion date is currently the 19th of August. How did you get on?
    • #17 here with a late report for Feb - just been updating my MSE Save & Make doc and also my Monthly Spend Tracker spreadsheet. I've overspent the last couple of months so I'm trying to crack down this month ready for a salary increase in April (as when the new National Minimum Wage comes in, I'd be below it at my current salary).

      • S&S ISA: £500
      • SIPP: £100 + £25 tax relief
      • Save the change: £3.46
      Total: £628.46

Even with pretty much every single bill going up (wages won't go up as much though), the £500 into my ISA should be sustainable. I'll probably be adjusting my SIPP down though I think, depends on whether I can get a side hustle going.

Off to update the form, sorry to hear you've been dealing with long Covid @slowlyfading - we had 4 people from our 22-strong office off with Covid at the same time a few weeks back (including 2 from my team), not long after those of us who were working from home returned to the office. It doesn't help that our manager doesn't wear a mask coming in and out of the office like we're supposed to....

      Good morning,
      #10 declaring £2000 for March.
      From salary, interest and dividends.
      Total £6000
      Form submitted.

Four freezers full of yellow sticker, market, butchers and homegrown food.
Haven't bought any new clothes for nearly 5 months. Haven't bought any toiletries for over a quarter of the year. Still got plenty left.
This year, only had one lunch out with a friend (£15 for both of us), I still go out for walks with three friends rather than have a meal. Went to the theatre two weeks ago, booked day before, got seats for £20 each.
Have paid for a spa day with a friend, for the end of the month.

Next week - kitchen fitters coming to measure up. They will be coming May/June. So, April, May, June savings will most probably be interest only.
