#35 with £1,170 for March. Had to take the kitty to the vet after he picked a fight with Godzilla (our name for the big bad tomcat who invades our garden).

Hoping for a better month in April with no feline disasters.

Been keeping up with my £1000 savings this years. Ditched my two regular savers Santa and 1stDirect in favour of £500 into Premium Bounds. Recon I'll chance it as the interest was so small on those it could no longer see the point.

£1522.98 for March, with the caveat that I've been spending out of other savings because I reserved a newbuild house that's due to complete in July.

How I'll deal with that going forward I don't know - at the minute I have designated "deposit" and "fees" pots that costs are coming out of so it's staying separate, but I'm likely to have a quite poor year savings-wise once things really get swinging. (but  that's fine, this is what I've been saving for and once house is in with the basics I can start cracking on with long term savings!)

Also - has anyone else dropped off the accumulated totals excel sheet? My 2022 totals are still on there but my 2018-2021 progress has disappeared!

Still showing fine for me… Assuming you the mean the last link the the OP?

Dreadful month for savings.  Declaring only £250 into my regular saver for no 36.  My husbands car was written off earlier on this month by a crazy driver who did not see the traffic coming to a standstill in front of him so wrote off our car and his own due to our tow bar destroying his  engine due to him ploughing into us at god knows what speed. My husband and his friends in the car at the time were lucky to come away without injury.   We had planned on replacing the car anyway in the next year but still ended up using £14k of our savings  in addition to the insurance payout which came really quickly thankfully.  We also had two birthdays, mothers day and three weekends away so our holidays and gifts budget and eating out budget went over this month. Of course we have been saving for those things so cannot really grumble as the money was there so much like @Merlin's_Beard we are spending from designated savings at the moment as we had a car replacement pot and pots for gifts, eating out and holidays.

Most importantly glad to hear that your husband and his friends are okay.

I always find those situations very dangerous, especially if the traffic keeps speeding up and down again, like a slinky. I always try to remember to put my hazard lights on in those situations, maybe your husband did but still doesn’t change the fact that the person behind was at fault.

Late for February as well, sorry been very busy and have had Covid on top of that.

    February total - £961.97
    March Total - £1959.00

A much strong March thanks to a pay increase and bonus from work, despite spending a lot on mine and OH's anniversary. I expect it to be the most I save in a month for the rest of the year.
