We bought our house at the end of last month so it’s been a bit crazy, and just catching up with myself now. We can bask in the new house glow for a while before the wallpaper stripping and painting begins!

    January: £875
    February: £1100

Only managed £500 this month going on holiday so don't want to leave it too tight. Also had work done on the house due to the storm. Hope slowlyfading is ok

  • I have just submitted my update for February.  £1500 helped by me getting some birthday money.  We have an expensive overseas holiday booked for September so will need every penny.

@slowlyfading Hope you are feeling better and your non appearance is due to you being busy from half term etc and not for health reasons.  Let me know if I can help in any way by updating the spreadsheet or whatever.

    #021 reporting £1,059.30 for January.

    SIP - £150
    Remaining earmarked for April's S&S LISA - £909

January's figure slightly lower than normal as December's credit card bill was paid today, which is larger than normal with Christmas etc. Hopefully a better figure for February with the CC bill lower. Have booked a holiday for March which will reduce my numbers but hopefully still keep positive each month.

    Submitted form.
    #021 reporting £4,074.10 for February.

    SIP - £150
Remaining earmarked for April S&S LISA and then normal S&S ISA

Figure includes annual bonus from work, much lower than last year but still nice to get!

Whilst it doesn't affect my figures for this challenge, was pleased to see a strong rebound in my S&S ISA during the end of February and was only down c. 2.5% for the month. It was down as much as c. 7% earlier in the month. Hoping for some further drops just before the new tax year, but thoughts and prayers for the people of Ukraine.

  • £1522.98 for February for me, pretty good going. As for everyone, energy price hikes to hit from next month but it is what it is.

Congrats on the new house @EeeJay!

Anticipating next few months to be a bit lower. Also putting aside savings for holiday this summer but not including this in the total amount.
