  • £811.86 for Jan, form updated.

Should have been a much better month, but I spent a fair bit around the house and also had a couple of days away here and there because, why not :)

Going to try to lock it down now as won't have so much spare for the next few months, so every penny counts!

Why not indeed! Life is too short, and so there needs to be a balance if possible.

Exciting, I’m in the same boat, moving into a new build but continuing to save. My total for savings after house move expenses by then of the year is £3k

Ooh, good luck! Do you have an estimate build completion?

I’m looking at new builds as well… there’s very little coming on the market in the area I’m buying, but about 7 new build development so they seem to be more reasonably/competitively priced. A plot I really like is going to come available on Thursday/Friday this week apparently, but the developer said they’ve got 4 people wanting to buy who are proceedable, so it will be first come first served on the phone. If it doesn’t work out, it’ll be okay as other things will come up, but I really hope I can manage to nab this one!

Late to the party - I saved £785 in January and looking at something similar for February at the moment. March will be a better month when I should get a slight pay increase and annual bonus.

I've updated the form for Jan.
