With UKPC, I'll get details up once I write defence. It's a few with half of them with forbidden parking.

I'm gonna assume I won't receive detailed particulars? Can't see anyone mentioning it in other threads.

I don't understand how it won't be thrown out without detailed particulars??

So tempted to counterclaim on the one's with clearly no contract possibly being formed.

If you have received a N1 claim form from CCBC then you will have details; it is called Particulars of Claim.  Look at the standard template defence, it mentions "4.  The Particulars of Claim set out an incoherent statement of case........"

Other claimants usually send a separate more detailed set of particulars.

So I am amazed DCBL are hoping to rest everything on a few sentences.

They usually do get away with it.  Their POC don't even identify a sum of money or how it is broken down, or what term of a contract was breached.

    25th November.

With a Claim Issue Date of 25th November, you have until Tuesday 14th December to file an Acknowledgment of Service but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.
To file an AoS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.

Having filed an AoS in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Wednesday 29th December 2021 to file your Defence.
That's over three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.
Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

Done the AoS, time to write the defence. No extra particulars have arrived.

Do I have to counterclaim now, or can I do a seperate MCOL in return after I (hopefully) win. Would that look bad if I don't do it all together?

A counterclaim has to be submitted and paid for at the time of submitting your Defence.

But what are you counterclaiming for?  And against whom?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Do you have an actual counterclaim and what is it ?
The benefit of a counterclaim is that the legal cannot discontinue ..... but it has to be valid.

But hey, this is DCBL ... full of fakery who recently cpst VCS £1000 for one of their fake claims
