For me it would seem better to dedicate the closing part of a WS to Costs incurred by you and Unreasonable Behaviour (kind of a victim impact statement type thing on the impact of their communication style and threats and the time/ loss of work its cost to defend/ attend court etc) and rationalising why rather than paying out for a seperate claim.

GDPR (or equivalent) claim. Where they illegally retrieved my data from the DVLA. Some of their claims are laughably bad (claiming permit required in a retail park with free parking etc.).

I don't mind putting in a complaint to the DVLA first though. Do they ever reply with a statement if I am correct, that would obviously massively help my case.

I just want some proper jeopardy on their side. It shouldn't be them just buying a lottery ticket.

Why do you think they were wrong to ask the DVLA for the keeper's details?

They are allowed to ask for the keeper's details simply to ask the keeper who was driving.

Because there is no valid charge to pursue from the keeper.

If a car park doesn't use a permit system and instead has 2 hours free parking, how can they pursue based on the lack of a permit.

Anyway, sounds like it is a bad idea, in which case I'll give them a get out clause of discontinuing.

Did their PCN/NtK not comply with the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (Schedule 4)?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

    Please read my second sentence.
    Here it is again...

    Is that the only requirement.

    We get that.

But we've never seen UKPC issue NTKs  for 'no permit' in a free car park with no permit rules.  Unheard of.  Are you sure?

Can you show us the place on Google Streetview and a scan of the PCN or NTK, redacting your name and address and VRM?
