My switch to EDF from Zog has gone through, direct debit set up, first bill (for pre-DD tariff) received.
not used the app, website is working fine for me.
just need my final Zog bill and I’ll be done.0 -
My switch has also now completed - just need to go and read the meter and set up a DD and wait for final bill from Zog.
Maybe EDF are engaged in a pre-Christmas sprint...

Still on step 3 but sounds like it won’t be long now.0

I've got the Woohoo as well.Noticed this on the Home screen though ....not sure what calender EDF use 😅
Your tariff
Your Welcome Standard plan ends on 31 December 99990 -
I also appear to have completed & even the suggested DD (without giving another meter reading) looks sensible.0

I still out in the snow with a board saying "Ex Zog" on it ... waiting for the door to open even a crack !

Woohoo !
But EDf's IT is still an omni-shambles. The dozy app still gave its dreary 'Nearly There' message with a start date of 15/12/21 but the website gave the Woohoo ! message.I tried to set up a DD online but it only showed Budget DD, i.e. Fixed Monthly. Had to phone to set up Variable Monthly DD. Got through very quickly to a very helpful lady and now it's all done and dusted. The app is now up to date and I know the amount of the first bill but I can't yet see it. Credit from Zog hasn't come through but I'm content to wait for the administrators to number crunch that in the New Year.First world problems I suppose, and absolutely trivial compared to those faced with loss of their job through no fault of their own, but one really would expect a giant multinational to have a less amateurish IT system. Everything to do with poor old Zog always went like clockwork, so I can't understand why EDF are so utterly useless.Phew !1 -
Edf all sorted, both website and app - just waiting until the 15th Jan for my next reading submission0

Well, EDF are moving over to Kraken from 2023 so it seems that they know that their IT systems are not up to scratch. https://www.edfenergy.com/media-centre/news-releases/edf-strikes-deal-move-its-5-million-customers-octopus-energy-groupsGerry1 said:First world problems I suppose, and absolutely trivial compared to those faced with loss of their job through no fault of their own, but one really would expect a giant multinational to have a less amateurish IT system.
