Presumably thats the gas fix price ?QrizB said:
12.8p/kWh sounds very wrong, are you sure about that?*zippy* said:Yes my Electric is fixed as well. She went to discuss it with someone and then said it was high, but they could offer a 1 or 2 year fix, both very similar.
2 year fix was 26.11 a day and 12.8 kWh (£20 early exit fee)0 -
That's how I read it.brewerdave said:

QrizB said:Still no sign of my bill from Feb 27th. I chased with CS on Monday who said it would be generated within 24h (spoiler: it wasn't) and again todaty. Today's CS agent said they'd generate a new bill dated today. I'm not sure how they'll do that as they didn't ask for a meter reading and I don't know if that will replace the one from the 27th or whether it will just cover the last 11 days ...To my mild surprise I've checked my EDF account this morning and there is a bill there! It covers the period from my previous bill up to the 10th of March. They've used an "our read" meter reading to generate this which is higher than the reading I submitted at the weekend but lower than the actual reading today.
You're right, I was thinking it was an electricity price but it could easily be a gas fix.brewerdave said:

Am I the only one to have never been billed by EDF?
I gave them a reading this week and my account says the bill will be ready within 5 working days of 8th march, but that's what they said about February and no bill was raised. I suppose I should just be happy that they're not taking my money but I'm not sure I trust them to charge the direct debit price if they are choosing not to take the direct debits.0 -
I've not received a bill from EDF either, I believe they only do 2 bills per year so from last chat, they reckon I'd get a bill in June, which is when DD is reviewed also.

I've not had a bill either so I'm just going to sit back and wait. Any issues and I'll just complain. They want me to up my DD but they will have to wait for me to do that after the Zog credit is refunded.0

Also no EDF bill, despite having an account set up, and a dd mandate in place. Of course, if you cancel the mandate, you lose the preferential rate. Do suppliers have to give advance notice of a dd claim, or can they just whip out any amount they see fit, whenever? It’s a ridiculous situation having to ASK for a bill, especially when it still doesn’t get produced anyway. Ok, you can calculate what it should be, and set it aside, but it would be nice to have some verification and regularity.0

Yes, they need to give 10 days' notice per the terms of the Direct Debit Guarantee:StartledJesus said:Do suppliers have to give advance notice of a dd claim, or can they just whip out any amount they see fit, whenever?

Didn't get a bill following my meter reading on 28 February. Chased EDF by chat yesterday and received a bill within 24 hours, so a result of sorts. But what part of 'Direct Debit Whole Bill (Monthly)' do they not understand? Still no refund of Zog credit nor Cash & Cheque overcharging so I'll have to chase them again when I have the time. Can't wait to leave EDF after they eventually sort everything out...0
