The LFT was positive for her. Mine isn't. Not just a normal bug. PCRs organised for tomorrow.

Hope you stay clear and same for me.

Waves at everyone. Thanks for posting.

Brain still unfocussed. DD has been largely keeping to herself even before today - so not sure what my level of risk is. Car journey will have made it worse though. I did feel weirdly dizzy a few days ago around 29th I think- but had a negative LFT that day and again on NYE. My booster was over a month ago - so my body has had longer to build up immunity. DD was at the borderline date... My sis is still testing negative. They are triple jabbed too.

I had lost a little more weight this morning but had apple crumble, ice cream and custard since then and a few other treats so don't know if I will continue in the right direction... I had home made soup for lunch. I'd batch cooked a huge portion a few days ago which could prove good timing if I become ill. I'm having the last of the cottage pie from the freezer for tea. Think will make some brined garlic chicken to eat another day. I still have MnS mash and swede and carrot crush in the freezer - so we could potentially have that with it at some point.

Before her telling me about her test I was having a good day. I'd picked up the brass magazine rack £5 - which has an embossed image of people dancing outside a tavern. I've used my labeller and for 2 labels - 'action needed' and 'to be filed.' I've already found a CC that I'd been looking for that I planned to cancel. I may buy more for other areas of the house as the slots are quite wide. I love that it is pretty, functional and a piece of our heritage too.  I've also brought together some of the tools I'd found scattered around the house and put them into a single box. Making progress slowly.

I've spent a fortune and got a delivery organised for tomorrow. Tissues, soups, crisps, ice cream, meds, fizzy drinks, some fruit etc. Probably over-kill but it can mostly go in stores if not needed for the immediate crisis. Also ordered some more caps for the ear thermometer as of course they've all gone walk about... Need to look for my oximeter which or course is also missing when I finally need it having bought it about 20 months ago now... I think it was in the garage last time I looked so I don't hold out that much hope. I think DD's phone can read blood oxygen though - freaky but true.

Done 2 dishwasher loads today. Did 2 loads of washing yesterday and just put another on. The bedding even made it back onto the bed yesterday which was better than normal. Need to wash the towel from the downstairs bathroom and find a clean one. Think I'll wash mine from the ensuite at the same time.

Being prepared is never a bad thing and it will all get used.
Focus on what is in your control, not outside of it, otherwise you'll drive yourself potty.
