Need to find out how to bookmark - otherwise definitely no chance of keeping up. 🏃🏼♀️
great achievements SH.
I was doing some reading for inspiration - I read this and thought you might find it interesting. I like the "word of the year" concept ..... although it's more than 1 word my 2022 phrase of the year will be "making it happen". I reckon you already did this in 2021.5 -

@savingholmes your in-laws comments made me smile (stick with me on this!). My husband and I separated in 2005 and his family shunned me, even though he was the one doing the leaving. Fast forward to 2014 and a chance encounter in town, I saw them and purposely said hello, although I had to remind them who I was! Why did I do that you may ask? Because I was pushing a pushchair with my 18 month son in it who I took great pride in introducing to them. It felt so great and still makes me smile now; it was a “look at how well I’ve got on in my life without your son or you thank you very much” moment. Thanks DIA, Blackcats, GAP, MF, BadMemory, Hettyhound
I'm rushing around today but appreciate the posts they made me smile. I've bought lots of art stuff today - part using Xmas voucher, part real £ - mostly in the sale. I also got my tyres tracked finally... Just caught up with a couple of friends that I thought weren't interested in me anymore and it turns out it was just a misunderstanding. Feel like I've received a gift. We will meet up in the new year and they said drop around for coffee any time so I will.
Now dropping DD off at a friend's so she can go clubbing (Scared face - but has had booster ). Her friend got injected last time she went out and ended up in A&E... Scary... Please God keep them safe...
Then zipping up the motorway to see sis and their family for a few hours before heading back home.
Happy New Year to you all.
