Thanks WD, Skint, Jwil and @Blackcats - it's been really muggy here today. Very weird weather.
I got the above for £20 - it's 2 separate units. They advertised it as Kllx unit but it isn't it's a bit narrower which is a slight pain. It does meet the need for see through storage. Put in the garage for now - but would look nice in the main part of the house. DD told me off for getting them - she doesn't feel I need them.
I've moved some of the clutter from the kitchen and the lounge into the garage. It's a start. It means I can deal with it in stages which I find easier. I've reduced some of the visual load. More to do... Like list some boxed tripod light stands... (I have 3!!). I have a different unit in the garage that I still want to let go. Will aim to advertise that next week. I still need to list some bed slats too.
I've managed to fit a few things in next door's bin which is also good.
I've listed some crockery on 0li0 - hope it goes. Put in the garage for now.
I'm not ready for my friends coming over... Still need to finish tidying and then do some cleaning. Keeping things simple berries, grapes and meringues and squirty cream / ice cream for pud. Balances the planned pizza which they are due to bring...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks MF. Had a nice time with my friend - and her DD with mine. She took some of my spare underlay with her... She liked my new units... I showed her the garage as she had seen it at its worst a few weeks ago...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Looking forward to the long weekend. Tempted to add a day to it.
I worked a long day today - but I owed 6 hours - so now only owe 4. I had to go in work unexpectedly at lunchtime. I took Cajun chicken with me from the freezer so at least I had tasty food. Lost 0.5lb at SW - reversing the recent upward trend which was a relief/surprise as not been brilliant. Need to do better this next week.
I ate the last of Friday's veggie carvery tonight which means I got 5 meals out of it as fed DD one too (£4.60 TGTG) plus roasted parsnips and home cooked chicken casserole using YS chicken and sausage so about another £3 and about £1's worth of roasted parsnips from the freezer.
I made spag bol. Couldn't be bothered dividing up into different types of meals so just did a big batch of pasta. DD has already had a portion and seemed keen so bodes well. I've frozen one and put the rest in the fridge. The fridge part should do at least 3 meals - perhaps 4. Not bad using just 500g of mince, 65p mushrooms, some onions, frozen peppers, tinned tomatoes from the extra cupboard that I'd stuffed them in and forgot, x cubes, Worcestershire sauce, garlic. Pasta I found in the garage cupboard.
My cat has snuggled up next to me and gone to sleep. Just had the elec blanket on for a bit. Temps seem to drop quickly at night currently. Soon be Xmas. Remind me nearer the time not to go mad food shopping as last time the kids weren't here to eat it.
I was down to fumes on my car so filled up using points 0% spends CC. £80ish there. Plus spent about a fiver yesterday etc... I'm counting the £80 out of next pay day's £ as shouldn't need to use car much if at all before pay day and I was just being cautious. I'll need to take DD to the train station on Thursday morning - not a good time to run out of fuel.
I need to check my £ as I think a payment to Mr T CC hasn't gone out - even though I have the £ in the account - if I'm right I'll just clear it...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

You're doing so well, love the storage - weightloss and entertaining too!4

Thanks Alchemilla - I think the storage is pretty and the glass doors will help protect my stuff so a win.
It was a 'victory' entertaining - as I struggle with that - but we had a nice time.
I've put my bedding in the wash as it was setting off my allergies (oops!). Dryer (using for towels) seems to be making a different noise than normal but it is still turning so ignoring it for now.
I'm going to try and do TRE today to reset my blood sugar - and then hopefully I'll find it easier to stick to plan. I have 2.5 lb to lose before I get back to where I was a few weeks ago. I had a pretty big shock - so I forgive myself.
Updated my £ last night. Cleared my Am**** CC. I've paid T CC more than the last statement balance - so will review again after pay day. I'd double counted a Mr T payment in next pay day's £ - however - ideally I'd send that to my 0% spends card. I get paid Thursday. If sis doesn't request £ before 4/10 I'll be able to deal with it much easier. I'm not going to remind her about it just will try and get things ready in the background. I won't take anything out of savings until she asks either - as for all I know - the actual request might not come or could come in a few months time. I don't like the uncertainty though so may keep that under review.
My car insurance being due earlier than in my head isn't great as it's due this early Oct. May use 0% spends CC to keep cashflow and leave remaining savings where they are.
My CC balance minus what DD owes me - including last night's fuel is £331 however in my main accounts and savings I'm up £700+ compared with last month - so net worth balance is £400+ up which I should celebrate regardless of sis situation. At least I've put myself in the best position I can.

I've roughly re-calculated my gas and elec. My elec freeze is going to cost me about £9 more - so not worth the £75 to come out of it (if that's payable). Overall I'm due to pay £2.4K instead of my original forecast £3K+ which is a huge relief! So £600 better off than I forecast a few weeks ago. Now need to play with my spreadsheet...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
