Thanks WD.
Just checked when my car insurance is due. I thought it was in October pay day and had budgeted accordingly but no sods law it's this coming pay month. Will pay on CC if necessary on 0% spend card - if that helps keep me earning interest elsewhere. Will check for cashback etc. Not had renewal letter through yet - so don't have a point of comparison but will still go for it.
I booked my MOT for mid October - slightly ahead of its due date while I was on a roll. I've mentioned it may need new windscreen wipers and they said they could just fit them on the day so that saves hassle.
I'm hoping that the insurance is less than £250 and the mot less than £100 all in. Wish me luck!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

You are sounding more positive and making lots of progress. Great artwork!

Thanks Jwil. I finished work early today. Will need to catch up at some point over the weekend ready for a meeting Monday but my head wasn't in the right place today.
I opened a wall cupboard in the garage and threw out at least half of its contents. Some of the items kept include medicine and food e.g. pasta and tahini paste... I've put some of my unused 1k3a products in there while I debate whether to use or sell them.
I have listed 5 more random things on FB - many unused from 1k3a - lesson in there somewhere... Really hope they sell as want to put towards handyman. That means I now have 14 active listings... I've had to ask a number of people what various tools or sports equipment even isAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks Lucielle. A friend suggested we go for a swim and to the pub. I counter offered Mr A pizza here - but not heard back.
I've in theory sold a cat scratching post. Hopefully will be collected in the morning. Just a fiver but it all helps.
I've ordered 2 veggie carveries from Toby - so will need to set off soon. I've just made YS chicken casserole with YS sausages, onions, carrots, mushy peas and stock to have with it.
Plus a fabulously tasty Eve's Pudding using home grown apples. Channeling HSL...
I thought DD was coming back today but its the early hours of tomorrow instead.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks @Blackcats and @L9XSS
Not had the best day. Was emotional at work - but the right people were supportive...
Tomorrow's another day. Cleaner due which will be nice. New FF arrives in the afternoon. I've moved over the food I'm keeping. Still need to clean it in the morning and clear a path. Was just mentally exhausted today.3 -
Thanks @Alchemilla
Well £5 cat scratching posts picked up. Someone is interested in some tennis rackets - so hoping they may go and give me another £15 it all helps.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
