Sorry you've had an up and down week, but it sounds like you've made great progress again. Well done on the sales!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2

If you've got a double, side by side, drive, price up a ton of chip bark as it may work out cheaper, you'd just need the handyman to empty the bag and wheelbarrow it into place a bit at a time.

Thanks MF, Jwil, Beanie
I would have thought a bulk bag would be cheaper but it seems not.
Really pleased with the progress on the garage and garden - I think it's about controlling what I can control and bringing order to at least part of my life! Feel I made the handyman's day too. I'll try listing a few more of the things we found over the weekend - see if they sell. Any £ is better than none. As I said to my cleaner - no point paying her to help me and then quibbling over throwing away things that are pennies in comparison to paying for her time. She's been enjoying decluttering and organising. Handyman isn't due back until after pay day which is just as well.
DD will be pleasantly surprised when she comes home tomorrow morning... She is also due to get £350 compensation within a couple of weeks for the delayed flight so she's very happy.
DS has now moved into his new place and started the new part time residential role. So it's all change... He's looking for a new main job too and is doing some freelancing. I would go and see him but not sure it's the right time from his perspective. Will see...
If I can get past this pay day and the next P1p payment before sending sis £ that will help a lot. I am over the shock now - and am just left with the disappointment. It's about what the £ represented - not just the security blanket element - but few people have ever given me anything without strings... I hoped this was different but apparently not. I'm pleased to have given stuff away this week - and to have sold stuff - and to have let other stuff go to become energy... Seems a good metaphor.

Awake early. Thought I would share yesterday's art.
Very therapeutic.
To Do
Check osteo appointments are covered by my health scheme and book an initial appointment. Otherwise find chiropractor...
Order repeat prescriptions.
Do a load of washing and ideally air dry.
Pick more fruit and make crumble
List some crockery on 0li0
That's plenty to be getting on with although if house prices continue to rise may need to set up trust for kids given I have life insurance too. Still need to do power of attorney. Life admin is endless.
Have a good day y'all

I may ask him if he could make me some raised beds for veg. He needs to dig out a load of bamboo for me first as well as finish pond area and re-boarding a bridge.
I need to ring San der and reduce reg saver or won't have available cash.

May see if my garden shredder still works and if so sell it as it was pretty crap.
When the garden is finished I have 3 boxes of outdoor lights I want to put up. Likely to need an electrician to put in external sockets...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
