Thanks @Blackcats - I seem to have recovered my equilibrium. I am using the increased level of HRT so think that's also helped.
Meal planning is helping me see how little new food I need versus what I typically buy. I've carried on buying with a family in mind even though I mostly cook for one and either eat leftovers or freeze for another day. Need to change. This week I found diet cola in the garage - so agreed with DD we can use with our guests tomorrow. I still have some fruit smoothie from a few weeks ago too.Meal planning (may eat out of order)
Defrosted 5% fat minced beef (500g) - and will make chilli, spag bol and cottage pie (and freeze some). I would have made veggie pasta but several portions in the freezer waiting to be used up already.
Today
Chicken and sausage, parsnips, left overs from TGTG veggie carvery
Porridge
Apple and plum sponge
Tomorrow
Chicken and sausage, parsnips, left overs from TGTG veggie carvery
(Using fruit from garden) Crumble and custard and ice cream
Pizza and salad (being brought by friends)
Monday
Chilli and Jacket spud
Veggie pasta / meal from freezer
Tuesday
Cottage pie
Cajun chicken from freezer
Wednesday
Chilli and Jacket spud
Veggie pasta / meal from freezer
Thursday
I could make macaroni milk (need more milk)
Cottage pie
Friday
Cheese and onion omelette and salad (need to buy cheese, onions and salad) possibly jacket spud too - with salsa sauce
Spag bol
Can supplement the above with porridge, chicken noodle soup, tins of salmon etc if needed. Also have eggs etc. Could make pancakes one day - not SW but tasty and a sweet treat and not as bad if instead of a main meal. I could make overnight oats - as I could use plums from the garden, a few grapes and frozen fruit. I still have yoghurt left. I've cooked one lot of YS chicken this weekend but still have 2 packs left in the freezer plus sausages, a piece of steak, YS chicken and mushroom pancetta from MnS various HM frozen foods. Then various veg etc.
That list suggests all I need to buy is fruit if desired, salad, milk, cheese, onions, carrots - and towards the end of next week more potatoes. I get paid this Thursday and have apples and plums from the garden so will see how far I get through the week without buying more. Likely to buy goal stoppers - keeping it real. DD picked me up crunchies for £1.25, ice cream for £1.35.
I may need something more go serve our friends tomorrow for pudding. They are bringing pizza and salad. I may buy some cream and strawberries and meringue or similar... We'll see.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks MF and @Merlin's_Beard
I will need to tidy up ( a lot ) before tomorrow evening as my cleaner didn't touch the house cleaning this week as we just did the garage. I can't believe how messy it can get so quickly.
I may need to buy more bleach as we seem to get through that quite quickly and I didn't find stockpiles of that!! It could probably wait until Thursday if needed.
Tomorrow am I also need to do some of my day job as I finished early on Friday... and I need to pay the proverbial piper as I have an important meeting on Monday.
DD made is safely back from her trip and had a good time which is great. She came home with lots of Euros which she exchanged for £50 so she was happy.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

A rocking chair went this morning so another £10 in the kitty. Currently trying to buy cube units on FB. Someone has just enquired about another thing...
I must be on a roll as last night I was dreaming about clearing out my front room and making it look good. In my dream the stuff was going in the garage - but some of it is paper type stuff - so might be better in the upstairs art room. Either way - even my sub-conscious is saying get it all gone / moved while I am on a roll.
I need to do some of my day job today still too and buy pudding and tidy and clean. Exciting day!! But I do have friends coming later as a reward.
I heard a bang last night - which I think was my meter cupboard door falling off. I asked the handyman to leave the stick propping it up but he ignored me. There's a counter prop in the garage so will see if that will work instead. I need to read the meter anyway.
Hope you are having a good weekend where you are. I put my elec blanket on for an hour last night...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
