Thanks @Orangetoes MF, Jwil. GAP and Beanie
I've recently changed my HRT meds (increased) - wonder if that's also impacting how emotional I have been feeling. I forgot to put my patch on after my shower yesterday so couldn't do it until I got home. Been awake since silly O clock. The new patch style they gave me is huge and it's itching.. whereas last month I had microdots from a different brand and it was so much better. What's irritating it I now have a 3 month supply... The GP amended it to 75 up from 50 - but I'd recently been experimented with a hundred and felt better - I see if I have any 25s left to go back to 100 and see if that helps stabilise my mood. I didn't explain that to her well enough - and had expected the prescription to go up to 100.
I need to finish sorting the FF and clear a path in the garage before starting work.
I hate that banks don't let you do everything in the app. San -der want me to use online banking to change my regular saver amount but tells me my security code is wrong even though it works in the app. So frustrated.
I got another P1p payment yesterday - grateful - so cleared £200 off a rewards CC - clearing the remaining balance from last month. If I didn't have the impending payment to my sis - I'd clear the rest of the card £179 of new spend - as I have the £ in the bank - but holding on to it for now until I know more what is happening. I will talk to my counsellor about it all tomorrow - and will then tell my sister how her request has affected me - but want help in choosing the right words as I don't want to cause a rift.
@LadyWithAPlan The book arrived - but despite being described as very good it's quite stained - so I don't feel I can use it. Will probably put in a complaint as I would describe it as acceptable... and feel missold.

How annoying re the book - enquiring MFW want to know if it’s worth getting (an unstained copy anyway!)
hope you can find the right words to express how this money back and forth makes you feel - it would make anyone feel uncertain and edgy especially right now. As with my unpaid invoices I end up leaving bills unpaid or Cc balance open or don’t save as much due to the not knowing what was needed to live!DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Hi @LadyWithAPlan
The book might be good for an avid cook. I don't think it is quite what I expected. If you look at k1ndle you can get a sample free - I think that was perhaps the best bit of the book. Genuinely the book is so dirty I barely want to touch though... I think if you practice the idea of cooking once as I do with minced beef and split into chilli, spag bol and cottage pie you already do the kind of rollover she's suggesting anyway. She does however give a much wider range of examples. If you like a lot of variety in your food that could work for you. I don't personally like too much so it seems over complicated. I think the top take away is batch cook, use a s/sht to record what you have and store some in the freezer.
When I cooked chicken the other day - I split half to be a casserole and half to be cajun chicken. It just depends how well you do those things naturally already. Or if I make pasta - use half for a spag bol and half for veggie pasta for variety etc.
In better news I've booked a short notice half day off. That way I can clear a path in my garage while my cleaner is here and helpfully take some stuff to the tip before the new FF arrives.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

So sorry to hear you are going through a rough patch .I find it very hard to understand why your friend / family member would do that to you and so sorry that you have been so upset by it all4

Thanks @try_harder
Families are always weird.
Well the cleaner and I have made huge inroads on the garage. Found more stuff to sell and will also take a boot load of stuff to the tip. Going to have some veggie pasta and then I need to empty my car enough to take the crap to the tip. Feels like huge progress though so really happy. She's very impressed with what I am letting go of. Soon I should get to the point of being able to have bookcases lining the walls with labels on the shelf and give everything a home. Exciting!
I've said I can't particularly give her money - but if she wants some of the stuff I'm getting rid of she is very welcome and will be helping me out. This way we are both happy.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I bought Econ Gastron years ago after seeing Tilly mention it lots - and I wasn't overly impressed - thankfully I only paid a couple of £ for it. I z1ff1ted it in the end for about 70p less than I paid for it.
It's all about tumbling things down into other meals, etc. A lot was too 'fancy' for my children to eat and I tumble leftovers into different things at times anyway.
