I can’t bulk buy sweet treats! I would just eat them all in max 2 days …
I am thinking of making more HM sweet treats such as gf df blueberry or chocolate muffins etc as I won’t put too much sugar in etc as I am more conscious of the ingredients. Batch some and freeze so I have healthy sweet treats in
your crumbles sound great.
I have a recipe for using chocolate protein powder (vegan) which makes great choc muffins and freezes well so they high protein , less carb but still sweet
the preservatives in the Harib0 etc I buy are not good for us
I don’t eat chocolate much as the dairy effects me even though I do love it but cocoa powder etc is fineDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Garlic chicken sounds good.
Could your cleaner assist with getting the plumbs, she might be a bit more stable on ladders.

Good news on sorting your WM......mine is 16 years old, it still keeps going (touch wood) but the bearings are getting noisy when it spins! We have been lucky with the weather here, glorious in and around Edinburgh. Garlic chicken sounds lovely. Off to work shortly, enjoy the rest of your day.3

thanks MF, @L9XSS and Lady
@L9XSS
Glad the weather has been okay for you. Has been a bit mixed here although today seems better.
Relieved about WM. Good luck with yours.
@LadyWithAPlan
Perhaps PM me the protein recipe for the muffins.
MF good suggestion about cleaner...
One of the things my spending diary showed me was how much I spend on batteries for work and was failing to reclaim. So I've resolved that moving forwards and got a big order delivered by work. Hopefully it will keep me going for a while.
It went really cold overnight last night. Had nightie and PJs on... Very glam not! Doesn't bode well for winter... I may relax my 'no buy' on clothes and buy some thermals!
Auditor was really happy with my work so that was a relief. Need to send them some stuff and then that bit's done. Managed to come home and now having a quick lunch break. Wanted to be at home so I can pick up DD from the station later. She's got a really long day with multiple journeys and its stressful for her.
Hope all's well where you are... Best get back to the grindstone.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Keep an eye out in A1D1 and L1DL for thermals, or if you've a s-d1rect pop in as they're cheap for thermals. An old pair of leggings will work under PJ's. Maybe double up a winter and summer duvet, but don't forget you usually have your electric blanket on in winter.
Congratulations having positive feedback on the audit. Would work consider rechargeable batteries and a charger, better for the environment; we have substantial batteries on charge each day and don't have big bills.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
It is surprising what duvet togs you can fit into one duvet cover. Probably 2 x 9+ tog well worth it. Trouble is at some time of the day you actually have to get out of bed!

On rechargeable batteries - they just don't seem powerful enough to run my equipment. I've just got new mice though and they are hugely better so who knows whether that was the issue rather than the batteries.
I get a night of peace tomorrow as DD is due to go to Ex's overnight. She got a friend to bring her back from the station tonight so that made my day a little easier. I've worked another long day today - so hopefully now all caught up on my hours and might even be in credit. Still behind on my work though - just lots of deadlines hitting all at once and extra work keep being added in,
