Minor issue, the MSE Cheap Energy Club does not have for selection the Zero Fixed Oct 22 and Exclusive Fix Nov 23 tariffs, so anyone getting these tariffs would have to do a manual comparison for the electricity account when the time comes.

It sounds to me like they should fix the website, but somehow I doubt any cheaper tariffs will appear before the Oct 22 fix expires anyway.

Managed to get our complaint followed through..

They told me the Zero fix deal was for the people being moved from Robinhood Energy.

I was asked to give them the exact tariff name, and instead gave them one that I would have switched to if I was on the Zero, and they have changed me onto that (confirmed in account) and back dated to the 10th of Dec (when I originally tried to change).

I am expecting a bit of extra compensation too, but they left it off so just chasing that.

Oddly I have been doing this other SMS as they don't seem to be getting my emails. I was lucky they chased up via SMS in the firstplace.

Online fixed march 23 works ish for me, somewhere between versions 1 and 2 are my costs. Well done to anyone who got those tariffs! For me it says I'll go from around 1300 a year to 2300 when the tariff ends, which for me is October.

Most people are on that eye watering amount from this month, sadly. Thanks to everyone on this forum who helped others to dodge that one.

Hi.  Just an update on this - (it was me who started this thread!)  I have now received my first bill covering November until May.  I have been placed on HomeEnergy Fix Oct 2022 which has standing charges.  Back when I asked to be put on BG ZERO Fix Oct 22 the online portal did show this but now shows the other tariff.  I think BG has changed this without informing me, so I would recommend you check your online account/bills.  I will need to contact British Gas about this.

Still showing zero fixed for both my properties. I have also had a number of bills and I make a point of saving the PDFs, so should they do anything silly like try and cancel them and re-bill me at a higher rate, I can legitimately argue that British Gas agreed to place me on this tariff and have issued bills with no issue for months, and I'll have the evidence to prove it.

Be interested to hear the outcome. No change on mine though they have recently cancelled and replaced all bills so waiting for new one.

I have a new bill not yet ready to download which has replaced the ‘cancelled and replaced’ ones and can see the amount due is higher than what was due in the cancelled bill using same meter readings. So am wondering if they’ve changed my tariff too like yours though if I use the tariff rates for HomeEnergy Fix Oct 2022 it comes out about £20 different to the amount now billed. And whether I factor in debit carried across from NR or not doesn’t reconcile amounts exactly so guess will need to wait till bill ready to see what is happening!
