My letter says it is a remote hearing so im not sure what that involves.

It will either say by telephone (and the court want your phone number) or by 'CVP' which is a video hearing.  You stay at home.

Ive just reread the attachmemt on the back of the paperwork they sent. It says it will be done on microsoft teams. The instructions says i need to tell them the preferred email address or if you cannot attend MS teams then explain why.
It doesnt say a date when that info needs to be sent.

I think send them your email address for the hearing (this week) but state that you have chronic anxiety - or however you are comfortable to describe your mental health issues - (attach the letter as proof) and state this:

The idea of a court hearing has almost caused me to reach breaking point despite a wish for justice. If on the hearing day I cannot face trying to join, or join but suddenly leave the hearing early due to feeling unable to cope, I respectfully ask that this email be reviewed in the case file and that the Judge considers the case in my absence.

Standard guff. I'm surprised you've not seen this on other threads involving Gladstones you have been researching on the forum.

It means that the PPC won't ge attending the hearing, it means Gladstones won't be attending the hearing, but it might mean that a freelance legal will be attending the hearing. Nothing more, nothing less.

I naively thought when I first read it that they werent planning on attending at all which was probably what I had been wishing for!

Of late, there have been some Gladstones cases where even the legal advocate has not turned up. While that helps you a bit, it won't necessarily stop the judge from going through the case methodically and objectively before coming to a judgment.
