So to please clarify i need to : put in my personal info, do the index page, add the exhibits. email this as a pdf document to the local court where the hearing is to be taking place.
Do i email to anywhere else? 
is there a certain font i need to use?

I apologise in advance for my question :'( . I have been looking at all the threads on here and now seem to have got myself muddled.
I can see i need to put my WS on a pdf file, ensure it is signed and dated. 1.5 line spacing and Time Roman for the font, all paragraphs numbered.
I am then confused. I think i have been confusing the telephone hearings/FTF (mine is a telephone one) and what i have read about needing to provide a case file.
Do i just need to email my WS to the local court and the claimants solicitor (Gladstone) in one email and attach my defence as an attachment?
So sorry to ask as im sure you have been asked this so many times before-i promise i have looked for the answer

Yes, but you do not need to re-serve your defence.  Everyone already has that.

Don't forget to attach your costs assessment as well, though, and to ask for those costs at the end of the hearing, if you win.

Has the WS i put on here (on the drop box link) not got the bit added in about costs? I know i copied and pasted it from Newbies Thread. I cant really understand the meaning of it all if im honest but i thought it was completed. would you please mind checking?

No, not as far as I can see. This is what you said in the preamble ...

34. I am appending with this bundle, a fully detailed costs assessment which also covers my proportionate but unavoidable further costs

..... but that 'detailed cost assessment' isn't there.

oh dear. Thankyou so much for picking up on this.
I really dont know how to do the cost assessment -is it as simple as copying and pasting from somewhere?
goodness this is difficult. new found respect to those working in law!
