HB, lots of ((hugs)), sorry to hear your news. Everything else will wait and will come together in time xx
Just polishing the (very tarnished) flylady halo here… gave myself until 1pm to do what I could, with Taylor blaring at a suitably motivational volume, and finished with 3 minutes to spare. Result.
Mount ironmore defeated.
Washing done and hanging indoors.
Cursory vac around the house.
Kitchen floor mopped - yes, really!
New spice jars washed and drying, waiting to be filled.
Shopping sorted and homed.
Cupboard shelf of tins sorted and stock rotated for the couple that had got pushed to the back.
Bathrooms s&s.
Easy LO dinner out of the freezer for tonight, dw will run later.
That’s my planned flying for the day done. Now for an afternoon of slothdom - my true state. Planning to knit DD some gloves that she has spookily asked for, when I had by coincidence already bought the wool to do the exact same thing. Beret already made for her, quite pleased with that, this might become this years C-shush present plan for a couple of others. If I get a wiggle on, of course.

Went poppy selling, it rained so got myself under an overhang, then some old dude, parked his mobility scooter right in from of me!, to keep it dry, no one could get to me because of him. I came home after an hour. Might go back later as OH wants to go and watch the rugby which is on amazon prime channel, so I will drop him off, do poppies then pick him up.Been to very big city outskirts, bought cat stuff.cats damage so far:- 2 sponge scourers, plus 2 blind slats sort of unstuck, when bold cat decided to watch out of window, blinds slats are now back about 6 inches to allow him to sit there and watch out, which he is currently doing.Kitchen is cleanedTrays are cleanedCat are fed, they don't seem to eat much but they are eatingHugs to those that need them, HB xxBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Morning all. Hope you're all ok.
I'm all befuddled this morning. Was looking for the new thread and have only just realised it's Sunday. Must wake up properly. Will report back on flying later.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Jazee I feel the same this morning. I was dreaming last night and feel a bit flat this morning. Anxious about DS1, he said to me yesterday that he thought he had a chest infection and of course that's what we thought he had when he started with Lymphoma. It's two years since he was first admitted to hospital too which doesnt help.
Anyhow, trying to put all that aside. DH and I managed a nice 4.5 mile walk yesterday and his back was OK so thats good. Need to do his monthly accounts and I have to go to work for a bit this afternoon. Some bits of flying to do and the usual finance spreadsheets to do.
HB sorry to hear your news, take care x
Have a good Sunday all.9 -

Good morning my lovelies xx
I'm up, my bed is made and first brew has been supped. I am a creature of routine 🙂
Breakfast and brew 2 next. Then I'll get dressed, feed the birds, put out the rubbish and recycling, and visit Pops and Babs.
Have a good day

Loads of small stuff done,Shower plug hole cleanedHoovered main bit of house, emptied dust less thingy.Swept patio off.Poppy box go ready to send back, ie pack up the metal pin badges.birds fed,car wash bottles topped up,OH has sort the 'paperwork' in his car out most of it was rubbish old pay and display tickets etc.Cat's trays sorted, & fed themNext door's cat came round for a cuddle while I was in the garden, then he arrived back with his lunch, a dead mouse from the field.Blinds mended with superglue, just letting them set then going to put the weights back.2 of the triplets, were brave enough to come in with us last night, they had play fighting, then washed each other, and sat on each other, we also heard one of them meow, so this is a vast improvement, 3rd one is still on a chair hiding, but we caught him out this morning, as he was behind the sofa, so he does move. Time and patience is needed.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles
