Hi ladies
Thank you for the lists and big hugs all round, especially to you NATTY xxxx
Fayolle - thanks for the wave!
The wind had died down this morning but is now back. No matter, I have been non stop since 8am and finally the place is looking marginally better for it. Loads still to take to the tip, and my mum has been decluttering too which means dozens of boxes of things from my childhood have been brought round. She has kept every exercise book I ever wrote in, all my old pencil cases, lots of things that have no sentimental value but I need to spend a good chunk of time sorting what can be chucked from what I do want to keep.
A load of washing is blowing on the line and I have just put DS spare coat in as well, as it was filthy. I have around an hour of peace remaining so I’ll catch up on various threads I think xxx

Hugs, Natty xx
Thank you for the lists. It’s my day off tomorrow, so I will try to tick off at least something from level one of today’s list. Open the window, maybe…
Frugal dinner from the meal plan this evening - harissa tomato and chickpea stew. Warming in more ways than one, but tasty. Kitchen sorted for the evening, towels still drying from this morning’s wash. Now to a few rows of knitting - trying a beret for a c-shush present.Hugs to all xx6 -
My offer email arrived along with sixty billion others from the recruitment department. They are being picky about my references, I can understand why but it did increase my BP trying to get them sorted. I’m awaiting their reply to see if they will accept my suggestion.
I have scanned my ID and exam certificates in and filled in the d b s form.
I have also been photocopying bank statements for DS2’s financial contribution for crap c/home as council rang to say forms are on way.I think I’m going to be ok with having any ni contributions this year so far as I already have 37 years of them already. 11 years until retirement apparently.
3 sets of Lego checked ready for the bay of a letter. I pulled everything out from under the former bunks. Washed a Lego tub lid ready to sell/or donate (whole tub plus contents with clean lid) emptied and washed some storage boxes.
towel wash done
had a visit from my helpful uncle with a phone number of good electrician so I will add that that phonecall to tomorrow5 -
(((Hugs))) Natty xx
I did my list
The second bank is now playing silly whatsits about the application for a church account
Tiredness has caught up with me. DH had the temerity to roll his eyes at me when I told him that, so he got a suitable response. He has been moved from the post-emergency department to a ward. There is talk of him coming home tomorrow, but he doesn't have his walking stick with him (the ambulance men wouldn't take it in case it got lost) so he cannot practise getting around unaided. Crazy!

Good evening 🙂
Food shop done. 2 loads of washing by DH. He also cut the grass! (Yay!) Tools, step ladder & decorating equipment removed from the small bedroom and returned to the shed. Empty paint cans disposed of, and part filled ones put away until needed. 2 bags of rubbish removed, and 3 bags taken to CS. DH has removed his music equipment from our BR & stacked in the small BR (we are finally getting there!). The floor still needs to be cleared & cleaned.
My wool arrived 😊 It is so soft & fine!! I haven't knitted anything for ages, so I am doing a tension square to check (& practice!) I won't start actually knitting anything until DD1 has visited at the weekend and told everyone her news. DH is already suspicious!! He asked me a direct question, because he knows I have a serious inability to lie! 😂 I didn't answer directly, and DD2 stepped in to distract him 🤣 Christmas was a nightmare when the children used to ask whether the fat man was real! 😱 Another reason why I only have little ones now 😁 They never ask!!
Hugs to those that need them, especially Natty. Iona I hope you get some rest tonight.
Night night everyone!6 -
Ionafan Hope you get a good night of sleep. Hope DH is well enough to return home and manages to get around. x
I have put the kitchen to bed and am about to head upstairs shortly x
Natty Hugs, making arrangements seems to fall on the same people here too x
The motorway sounds loud tonight I will wave out of the bathroom window in case any flyladies are passing by. I’m hyper today.😬7 -
Morning all
Thanks for the lists. I’m in. We got back yesterday evening from a weekend visiting family, both back to work today so I made sure to get organised…
quick menu plan done
DH did food shop
all bags unpacked and everything put away
wm x 2 run and on the airers to dry with dehumidifier going
collected cats
cooked supper, cleared up and reset kitchen
Today I shall be making an early start as no doubt I have a mass of emails to get through, it’s weigh in tonight too so I will fly where I can, bathrooms were done before we went so a swish over will be enough.
Not completely caught up on the thread yet but sending hugs, sticks, spoons and GWS wishes as needed x
back later x8 -
Morning everyone
Hope everyone is OK especially Natty x
Very little flying yesterday (other than washing my bike, not sure if that counts) but I will catch up a bit later. Cycling to work today going to do a quick yoga session first as I feel a bit creaky.
Has anyone heard from Pigpen, hope she is OK.
