At the minute there seems to be quite a number of us been issued with these PCN’s from months back. Surely if we all refuse to pay they can’t possibly want to take us all to court paying the court fees and potentially risking loosing the case?!! 

I’m just concerned because in my appeals I admitted I was the driver.

Me too but I will not pay to them anything.
I want a chance to say my part.

No, they will try court.  We win, though.  Admitting to driving is fine in a case about dodgy signs.  You can all be each others' witnesses anyway.

Keep all letters and get a SAR from VCS (to see all data held) and follow our advice - see the NEWBIES thread and other VCS threads galore.

I'd get this in the local paper and be on to your MPs to assist your complaints.  Please please also get the MP to take it up with the DLUHC, as I said earlier.

Those affected could set up a support group such as a fakebook fightback forum. This may attract other victims to the cause and spread the word about the entrapment zone.

Has anyone left feedback on the gym's website/social media to warn prospective users about the parking issue, as well as contacting the local news media? Since the gym appear to be helping, then the wording needs to carefully warn people about the PPC, the car park, and the inadequate signage, not about the gym itself. You don't want to alienate the gym owners, especially if they are not the landowners and did not employ the PPC.
However, a bunch of people telling the gym that they can't afford to be a member any more because of the parking charges may encourage them to increase their efforts to get the landowner to do the right thing.

Not yet but the gym said they are sending our case over to the land owner. I had to fill that email in and send it back to them. Think they were waiting on everyones replies before sending over. Hopefully hear back this week

None of them will be able to stop VCS - I predict they will not cancel any - but that company will royally pee off the Gym and landowner and will find a body of Defendants all helping each other if they try small claims against these victims. 

Not a good move as well, if you all complain to your MPs and get them to use VCS here as a bad example to show the DLUHC what the new Code of Practice and framework needs to be robust enough to stop.  Please get your MPs on the case, all of you, to lean on all parties and to ask questions of Mr Gove to ensure this sort of rubbish 'similar signs' entrapment sees its days numbered.

So what do you predict will happen if you think VCS won’t cancel any of the fines? Do you think it will end up eventually going through the courts?

I have been in contact with my local mp, and I was told he did not want to put any pressure on the landowners if they are in dialogue with gym. So I didn’t get very far. But maybe the other mps may be willing to do so if the others could ask.

Yes you will all get court claims, no biggie, no risk. We win these pretty much all the time.  Read other VCS threads, they are all about court claims.

You are in good hands here.  We know what we are doing and no-one risks a CCJ.

Ive contacted my MP with the details and one of her aides is on the case for me. Yet to hear back
