I have received a total of 5 NTK's in the last 3 weeks from the same company over the same parking spot.

The first two I appealed due to poor signage but they rejected, I then panicked and was going to pay but asked for a direct debit setup instead. they said they could only do it for the sum of £100 instead of £60. They then sent out questionnaires for each ticket wanting to know my bank details and 2 months worth of transactions! (was gobsmacked by that one - cheeky b@******!!)

The other 3 then arrived which brought me to this site as everything felt as though it had fell apart - all this money right before christmas for a genuine mistake :(

Ive read the newbies thread and now seeking the land owner details to write to. I must admit the thread is a lot to take in and I'm confused already.

1. Do I appeal the others, but wait 3 weeks from dated NTK?

2. Write to land owner asking if there is anything they can do.

3. Write to mp to ask if theres anything they can do?

by the way - this is from a well known car park near to a 'gym chain'.!!

Thanks in advance for reading.

  • I’ve basically admitted I’m the driver on the first 2. How do I go about the other 3? Will they look at them all as a whole and question why I have different responses to them?

ive got no hope here have I :(
  • I’ve written to the land owner but im worried that a reply won’t come in time for me to use the 4 week appeal window on the NTK? Please help

Appeal the new ones as keeper using the template in blue text. If there was a NTD left for the driver then wait until day 26 to appeal.
If ANPR was used then appeal each one in turn a few days apart.

Make notes about what you have done including dates and PCN numbers as you go.

Get pics of the site and signage.

    Park elsewhere.

Please tell us where this happened as it may have cropped up here before.

You've said where ... what are the alleged "offences" that the PCNs have been issued for? What do the signs say, and are they even readable?

We've got another thread about this place and I seem to recall it has a largeish entrance sign so I am perplexed why people are parking there at all.  Why would anyone drive into  a car park run by notorious ex-clampers?  Are you a gym member and are the t&cs unclear?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • Offences are for being a non permit holder. It is directly outside the gym. There is another free parking area to the side of the gym with the same colour sign only slight difference. In top right corner e-permit only, and the sign in the free car park says 3 hrs max

im a gym member and I don’t know why I parked there either, just thought it was the gym car park. Here I find myself in this situation. I’m done for really arent I

  • @Coupon-mad - I kind of get what you’re saying but the reason I parked there was to use the gym. Yes I am a member. I’m not too read up on parking companies so wasn’t aware they were an ex clamping company? With it being a large entrance do you mean this is normally a red flag for parking?
  • The gym has said they’re looking into this so don’t pay them but I’ve started the process via the newbie instructions anyway.
