I would give Halifax a call then just to verify, as balances usually transfer by this time on the completion date (as long as there is definitely a positive balance to transfer after overdraft/debts have settled).jbsrodrigues said:
Yes, the switch was scheduled to complete today (22/11/2021).Sensory said:
Was the switch originally scheduled to complete today, 22/11/2021?jbsrodrigues said:My Switch from Nationwide to Halifax was completed today. I've received an SMS from them stating that the switch is completed. Logging into Halifax account I can see the £125 incentive in the account but is missing the money I had in the Nationwide account. Does it take some time to show the money from the old account? Should I call them now?
Can you still access your Nationwide account?
Accessing Nationwide through the mobile app doesn't show any account available. It's like I don't have a Nationwide account, supposed it's already closed.0 -
Sorry if this has been answered already, however do the Halifax credit score you for a 2nd account.
I remember when I opened my 2nd Lloyds account sometime ago they never credit scored me for it.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -

If something has gone wrong you still have access to your statements. You would have to register separately as closed accounts won't be available through online banking. I think we just need to be patient.Cheers0

Just contacted Halifax, they state they haven't received any money from Nationwide, to contact them.sheffieldeagle said:jbsrodrigues said:My Switch from Nationwide to Halifax was completed today. Nationwide says the account is still showing as open even if I can't see it through the app or mobile banking, to wait a couple of days...1 -
Thanks for that. I don't think there's anything to worry about.

When you do the switch does it ask for the card number of your old account?Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0

Yes the long card number is required and expiry date. Just arranged my wife's old Tesco account switch for her, although she never used the card she had to dig it out for the details above.stclair said:When you do the switch does it ask for the card number of your old account?1 -
Thanks for the thread. Account opened (2nd Reward) and now sorting an account to use to switchRemember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
