Excellent news, thanks. April 2020 is a generous date and no DDs seem to be required1

I looked at this, but there are too many strings. Plus, they won't allow me to upgrade my 'Basic' current account to a 'Reward' account and then switch into that. Ridiculous.0
-
Too many strings? Are you kidding? This is one easy switch.
Why do you need to upgrade your basic account to a reward? Open a new reward and switch into that, what's the issue?
I'd go for this but I did a switch in August last year. Halifax are great for free fivers each month.7 -
Rubbish news for me and no, I am not kidding.
I can't pay in £1500 per month and don't want to pay £3 a month for 'maintenance' either.
I'll have to stick with Nationwide a bit longer. Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts. I would, but I've already opened four accounts this past month and switched three times. I'm still waiting for Santander's payment so I'd have to open another two accounts for this one.0

You can pay this, in one lump sum or in multiple payments, into Halifax and back to where it came from in next to no time each month. If you play your cards right and put a little extra effort in, Halifax will even pay you £5 a month for having a Reward account.
You can also close the account as soon as the switch is completed and they have paid the switch bonus. Their payment record is exemplary.
A fantastic offer for those who haven't had a Halifax switch bonus since April 20206 -
What's the routine if you already have the 2(?)max Reward acs? Anybody risking downgrading one and opening a new?
And I've seen before people post that they have more than the two max: Do they risk attracting attention while opening an Ultimate RA/switching/collect bonus/near immediate downgrade?0 -

Not even considering the Ultimate Reward route, as with 4 existing Reward accounts and £240 a year already in payment I have too much to lose.

I have a reward account I have had for many years in its many forms. I couldn’t work out if as an existing customer I could do a switch to that account. Or do I need to set up another reward account with them first? I actually did try a switch today which progressed to me giving the bank account I was transferring. But them got a somethings gone wrong screen!0
