Still potting away, I was out with DG the other day when he found 5p roadkill, he spent the next 20 minutes trying to convince me it was a 50p coin that had shrunk because the heat makes them shrink!!Sealed Pot Challenge member 28

Good afternoon everyone!
I hope everyone is enjoying the slightly cooler weather and that flash flooding hasn't had too much of an impact on people in this group.
Apparently I was last on the forums in MAY!!!! Oh my. To say that life was manic is a bit of an understatement - and if it wasn't manic it was blinking hot and survival was not really guaranteed. However manic life has been, potting has continued you'll be pleased to hear! I was also lucky enough to spend 3 weeks in Canada - visiting a cousin and then travelling around a bit. I tell you this as a) I wouldn't have afforded it without potting and the discipline of saving and b) I'm hopeful of a small windfall... My internal flight was delayed in landing by approximately 3 hours and airlines are required (by law) to compensate people whose flight arrival time is delayed by 3hrs or more. If successful (I was late by 3hrs 1minute!), I will be in receipt of about $400/£250. Fingers crossed. The majority of it will be potted.
Anyway, general potting continues. Sweeping/rounding of the joint account this week was £1.65, TopCashback payout was £1.95 (more to come, I hope) and various other bits and pieces over the last few months. Possibly about £180 since I was last on.
I'll be back... I hope!

A happy Tuesday SPCers! I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Have a great week ahead and take care. For anyone who is either poorly, suffering from Covid, or are down in anyway, take great care and get well soon. Best wishes from us all.A cracking find Ant!Hello there Vicky, lovely to see you again! 😃We haven't had enough rain for there to be flash floods! Still, that's a good thing for the village in general as the lower part has flooded a lot in years gone by, especially in the houses of villagers! If we had flooding in our part there would be dire problems for everyone as we're very high up.I really hope your time in Canada was fantastic, and that you'll be compensated for the delay! Fingers crossed! 😃Brilliant potting one way and another 🤩 We've only got about 2 MONTHS to go now!Yet another £15 transferred to the SPC account, though it make me wonder for how much longer!Have a lovely Tuesday & Wednesday folks! 😊Sue xxNB folks: The opening date for this year is 27th October 2022, it's NEVER too late to join

Hi potters
Rubbishy week for me I'm afraid... but I hope everyone else is okay?
The heat inside our factory is nearly unbearable over night, were fighting over the floor fans! All made worse as it's not as if were all standing around, we do work
Left my bank card in a Hsbc atm today, simply can't get a hold of them to report it, well, I think I left it... ended my transaction, took a balance and it must have ejected it without me taking it.
My saving tin now is full, weighs a ton, I'm sure only a few more coppers will fit. Not long now though, 2 months
Hope everything's okay at your end Sue!
Take care all

On the plus side @rancid-a you have a nice full pot to look forward to counting. I am also well into overflow territory.
Potted a couple more pound coins today along with some more travel savings.
