Oh Sue, your poor hubby seems to be having as much luck with treatment as G ie NONE.  I couldn't believe it when I got a face to face Dr's appointment but it didn't do me much good sadly   As far as we know, we have both escaped Covid but can't be sure really as we've both had bouts of feeling ill over the last 2 years or so.  Tests have always been negative but I have my doubts about them picking up the new variants.  Today has not been a good day for feeling well, but you made me laugh thinking that the locals in your area have been having affairs though!!  I suppose it's been the boredom of lockdowns

We just might be better off with our Pharmacists from now on, little_sweetie, A, though when the newsreaders say it'll take pressure off our hectic Doctors, how they keep straight faces is beyond me - almost all Drs have taken to the hills and still running!! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

I'm sure you're right to be convinced that you've both already had COVID as the last 3 variants have not been hitting so hard as the previous ones, thank the dear Lord too! 

I've always been doubtful about the efficacy of the tests. I don't know about you, but we've heard nothing about the latest vaccinations, though I've also heard they only last about 4 weeks, and at this time of year...is it ever worth it?!! A difficult one to ponder.

I'm so sorry you had a rough day yesterday A, but really hope you're feeling at least a little better today. Do let us know how you're getting on please? BTW, if affairs have been going on in our village then I'm sure it was a case of the JOYS of lockdown...and since!! 😂🤣😂 xx

I am currently in Turkey, and I was talking to a lady on a boat trip who was about to go and get her 5th one here.

At home I have not yet been invited for my fourth one.

Hi all,

I have been lurking in the background, I have potted some notes today that I was in my purse, along with some coins. I find even if I have notes and coins I find myself just using my phone to pay for things, so stuffed the notes into my pot.

Hope those that haven't been feeling too well recently, are feeling better. Have a great bank holiday weekend.

Happy month of May everyone! I have potted a huge £26, this is massive for me in coinage as I never have that much but decided to empty a vase I had thrown loose change in several years ago ( pre- pandemic) and hadn't thought about. Not a single £2 coin  in there though but lots of £1's. Also came across some lovely 50p's, the Beatrix Potter characters including Jemima Puddleduck and Tom Kitten, also Paddington. I haven't potted those though as I will keep them to one side
