Congratulations James, you must be so excited even with the nerves and it's a massive achievement. I'm proud of you and I've only caught the tail end of your journey, but your determination is admirable and inspiring. That's a great idea with exchanging the 20p coins with your mum.
My coins for yesterday were £4.68 into the pot.

Morning all SPCers! What a weekend, Saturday quite nice, but Sunday..! ⛈️⚡ Mind I did enjoy the thunderstorms. 😊 Have a good week ahead, but beware of washing on the line! For all those not well or low in spirits, take great care and get well soon. Love and best wishes from us all. ❤️Hi Keedie, you're very welcome. Keep looking ahead to your debt-free times and hold back with being tempted to spend: If you don't NEED it leave it there and pot the cash instead!! 🤗It sounds as though you really suffer through life so try hard to get all the help possible! Very best wishesGreat words to James too, he's struggled a lot and finally got there!! That'll be you too one of these days!!Hi James, many congratulations to you on having finally got there!!! 🤗🤗 Have a chat with someone in the bank who knows your finances so you get peace of mind. Meanwhile, try not to worry as it gets you nowhere and just mainly, as you know, just knots your stomach..or worse! Relax James and be so darned proud of yourself. 😊BTW, it's horrible here too, nowt like May at allWell done with the council tax refund!! Why not speak to someone at EonNext to sort out exactly what you're able to pay.Good work with the 20ps! I hope you managed to get some sleep, it's imperative for us all!Yes, I'm reading and, as you can tell, responding and I'm fine apart from one painful gum after a tooth was extracted, the dog tooth next to it is longer than tother one and causing pain to the empty gum! I swear one of these days I'll have them all out!!!🛠️⛏️Take care James and all the best with the bank.Good thinking LMD!! Worth a try for sure. Excellent saving with the potting, virtual and real life too!! Don't forget, you can include the virtual savings with your potted in October!! 🤗Enjoy the rest of the day, Potters, Tuesday too. 2p roadkill. My reward for walking in the road so as not to disturb the geese and their goslings; also they can be nasty so and so‘s when they have their babies so best to give them a wide berth!

Oh my, James! That's quite something! Huge congratulations to you.
Sorry for being MIA. School has been pretty hectic with Year 6 SATs - and I'm a Y6 teacher!I know I wasn't sitting them, but goodness we have to do EVERYTHING by the book. Constantly on edge for all adults... Now to await the results in July!
As for potting, I won £20 in my parents' village monthly draw (sounds a bit like a card in the game Monopoly), so I've potted that! Payday is next week, so I'll be able to pot more then I hope.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared6 -
I've just been reading a few older posts to try to catch up and, James, are doing amazingly. Well done!
Sue, it's wonderful news about your Grandson and his engagement. You must be so proud. Sorry to hear that your teeth are still playing up though. Hope you are feeling better now and that T and the rest of the family are ok.
I'm still feeling a bit yuck, hence the reason I've been absent from the thread for a while. The good news is to report 20p road change as well as £7.30 received today from Ziffitt for some books.
Hope everyone is ok xSealed Pot Challenge #012

Afternoon Potters! I hope you've all enjoyed th week, but will have a smashing weekend!!For all those of you not well or low in spirits, take great care and get well soon. Love and best wishes from us all. ❤️I quite understand Vicky, so no need to apologise at all. I bet it's bedlam at times, hoping you've got it all done to the T, rewarding too when the results come through. My youngest grandson is currently sitting his GCSEs so he's been swatting a lot prior to them. They haven't had a History teacher this last year! Thankfully, he isn't too concerned as Maths and Business Studies are his main priority. He then goes to college in September to study both topics for A-levels. He's a maths buff exactly like one of his brothers.Congratulations on your £20 win, though I'll take your word for it being like Monopoly, I really dislike that game unlike our two younger grandsons, Maths again! 🙄See you soon Vicky and have a great weekend.Hi little_sweetie, I'm so sorry to hear you're still not well. Was it, or is it Covid you have d'you think? Get plenty of rest and sleep A. How about G?Our eldest grandson is thrilled to bits, his lovely Fiancée too! 😍 Thanks so very much, for T too, though his back is rough at present.I'm also better now, it just needs to heal.Excellent news about your money from Ziffit, and an excellent 20p!!! 😯😃£15 transferred to the SPC account for me.Have a really GREAT WEEKEND, Potters, Thursday! Keep safe and healthy!Sue xxNB folks: The opening date for this year is 27th October 2022
