Now on the outskirts of a village (still in Shropshire), with farmed fields opposite, we've been plagued by what I think are flea beetles. Which are just as unpleasant as they sound.

An update and also a document of my descent into madness. Landlord decided he wanted to try and catch the mole. Someone came and set traps. We caught a mole which was sad but no more holes. A week later more holes another mole. This one I think is out for revenge and on steroids by the look of the holes.3
