Moles!

I rent a property with a good sized garden.  When I moved in the grass wasn’t brilliant so the lawn isn’t one of those shiny green ones.  In the last few months mole holes have appeared.  First around the borders then coming more central.  I’ve let the letting agency know and they were going to inform landlord.  Is this something I can lose my deposit over? Is there anything I can do to put moles off ?

We used to get moles in our garden when I was a child. My mum used to put little plastic windmill things in the ground. Apparently they didn’t like the noise & seemed to work.
  • Can't see how you would be made resonsible for mole in your garden. Are you sure they are mole holes and not rat holes?

We had moles at this house, but they went away when there was a lot of building work done next door.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

What are rat holes sounds horrendous! I’m assuming it’s moles they are all over the village and I get up to a dirt mound every morning.  They are not small.
