Anic: I hope you get fitted regularly, sadly buying online is not the best of options because then there is no one there to check your fit. Which is rubbish because at that size its the most important thing ever.

Thanks for the advice and yes - I get fitted in Bravissimo's store every time I need to buy new ones. I very rarely buy bras from the internet as I tried that before and bought the same brand/size, etc. as the one I had been fitted for but just a different colour and found it didn't fit quite as well so just stick to ones that I can try in store.

hey all, just been on my dancemat and earned myself a lindor. Well, if mr sainsbury is going to send me birthday presents it would be rude not to wouldn't it? But i have to earn them - i'm taking a leaf out of missy's book. Got some ww dessert whip in the fridge too - i reckon if i use the milk as part of a HEA the whole bowl is 2 syns. It uses 125ml of milk and apparently makes 2 portions - the advice is to freeze the second one. . . .what planet do these people live on?

stayed away from the reindeers and you were right Missy, the easter stuff is out. I'm only in danger when they reduce them really as I balk at the full price for them. I never had a proper easter egg as a child . . . ( awwwwww) I grew up in a sweet shop(which explains a lot of things) and my dad can be a bit of an arkwright type . . . we'd get whatever was left on the shelf after easter, but just hte egg bit - he'd put the chocolate bars on the shelf to sell!

Raphael - when was/is your birthday? cant' believe there's three of us this week - Pixie have a fab time camping - when you say 'on camp' is that a scouts/guides type thing?

Rofling at Ajax with his housebricks. Simple but eloquent, I like. From what I remember the plot of 'bring it on' is rival cheerleaders in a competition. So thats ED and KD in cheerleader outfits pulling each others hair. Thanks for the tip about hte tommy lee jones film suggs, i thing i might have to get him that for valentines day! Having daughters Suggs, have you seen Josie and the !!!!!cats? Sheer genius. Every time we have a party the dvd comes out so we can watch the fake boyband sing 'backdoor lover'.

Really nice to see the great results coming - well done dragon and how exciting anic - we're all hoping for you.

So shall we start a new poll? How can Vix top last years performance? I think some sort of pvc outfit is in order . . .

Thanks, especially to Ajax and Vix, who've had me in stitches while I've been catching up! I love your NYR Ajax, thankyou for bringing your hmour and smut back this way! I can't believe that was the first thing to come out of your mouth when meeting a new group of people - oh, hang on a minute, yes I can :D Can't BELIEVE nooone laughed, what a bunch of dullards!
Well done to all the losers so far, and especially to Dragon as I know how hard it's been for you :T I can almost hear you whooping in your posts! :D
Had to laugh - I've never been called 'organised' in my life (quite the opposite, it's chaos on Planet Bails :D) so I'm taking it as a compliment! It's amazing how living on 4k can really change your mindset, and it's only been a week! I've just done a list of every dinner for the rest of this month (and am now heading into next month ) trying to use up as much of the food we've got in the cupboards/freezer as poss. If we don't fancy something we can of course jiggle it about, it just means we have all the ingredients in the house. It makes life a lot simpler too, which is another one of my goals this year. So all good! Without thinking, I picked up a bag of sweet potatoes today that were on offer so now I'm going to see what else I need for KPC'S tagine; yum! Things going pretty well here this week, will see how it is by Wednesday. Good luck to everyone else with their WIs, hoping for a great week for us all! And I hope you had a lovely b'day Raph!
Off to Sains in a bit (for the 2nd time today) to pick up some bargains hopefully - nothing like [strike]obsessing[/strike] honing your MS skills :D EDIT: Okay, I'm sure I'm being v thick but I cant find the recipe thread  Can someone help please? Ooh, just thinking it might be in the first post, I'll go and have a look *hangs head in shame*

It's also amazing that with the £4k challenge and the grocery challenge, it is easier not to pick up the cakes, biscuits, sweets etc. OH has been banned from beer - costs too much :rotfl:

BUT today I ended up picking up all the BOGOF's etc in order to save money in the future. We've now got a 10kg of Basmati Rice living in the hallway, 'cos it won't fit in the kitchen cupboards - I think I need a rethink.

    Right...

Suggs, I started by playing loose-head, and moved across to tight after that... I'm not a huge fan of it to be honest, I'm not great at binding on from there (which is why I was moved!). Some people really seem to love it though... Strange people. Have fun with it...

And there will be no Guiness this birthday. I was given a very nice crate of Green Goblin, a cider made by the lovely people at Wychwood, as an early birthday present from a cousin. I do have him well trained.

KPC, I am indeed away with my scouts! Well, explorers, they're a little older (and twice as childish). Will be cold, wet, and muddy... And having a great time!

That's extremely good to know Ajax! I had wondered where those calories had been disappearing to over the years... ;) And they might not *all* be boring, must just be the ones I meet... lol.

Right, must do some work... Must do some work.... Must do....

Well I went along tonight and for a long while was the only newbie.
Later 4 more ladies arrived. Why do us women always go in pairs? (I went alone) _pale_ and felt it at first.
One of the other newbies asked such funny questions that it broke the ice but at her expense really.
I felt better when the leader said the picture she'd given us all was herself in Oct: 07. Since then she has lost over 4st!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You really couldn't tell it was her.
I'm hoping to lose that in a year.
All the information was overwheming and I've spent the rest of the evening working out a meal plan for the week.
I think I was getting to adventurous with the receipes, so will modify tomorrow, then go shop or do a Tesco online.
Most people had left when I got weighed, because I was looking at the books on sale. Also got the online password ;)
When told my weight, for some reason, I burst into tears  I wasn't expecting that, or the amount of weight.
The leader said it's the last time I'll see that weight on the scales, I told her it was the first time I'd seen it as well!
I was still bawling when DH came to get me, god knows what he thought they'd done to me.
I'm a bit scared of tomorrow and working out the do's and don'ts. It feels like a long road ahead.

LL, it may be a long road ahead but, without wishing to sound too corny, one that we'll all be travelling together. Keep it simple to start with, a new plan of any description takes time to get your head around. Pick one good thing to focus on, like drinking 2 litres of water (or something specific to your plan) and then gradually add on as you feel comfortable. And be kind to yourself, or as a road sign in India said 'Be gentle on those curves' :D I fully believe that we all carry around extra weight for a reason - don't hate it as it's been there for a purpose, and now you feel ready to let it go. That's great! We'll all be here to help you every step of the way so log on as much as you can and we'll get through it together. Good luck, tomorrow is going to be a good day! :T

    Aww - LilacLillie - (((hugs))).

Try not to think too much about the number on the scales now. Please don't let it get you down focus now on the positive change you have made by attending the class in the first place.. SW is a fantastic plan, especially if you like large portions.

Keep posting and let us know how you're getting on.
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.
