Vix, you might have told us before, but how many bras do you actually own?! :p I think I understand about the sizes now, thank you. My 32F to 30E is a reduction of the equivalent of two cupsizes? (Even though it may be different in other styles of bra). Ouch. Oh well, I guess some people would pay good money for a reduction like that so at least it's MSE friendly :P

Do you think exercise may have played a part? I've been doing a lot more arm exercising with heavier weights and more variation than the standard curls I was doing before.

My 'maintain' weight is 8½ stone, I'm currently 3.5lb under that. I've raised my cal allowance to 1250/day for this week as I plan to exercise more, so we'll see where that puts me next Monday! Thinking about it, I may decide not to maintain at one specific weight, but at between 8-8½ stone? It might be nice to have some flexibility, what do people think?

p.s. Ajax, perhaps I should photograph them! In case they shrink even more!!!

I think its one of the most sensible things I've heard :p The flexibility will help remove any paranoia and perfectionist element as its impossible to stay at a specific weight...it will also help accomodate any water retention issues and other such fluctuations

.......when I reached a milestone weight I relaxed a bit and stayed within a half-stone band before moving onto the next target. Always worked well (except for my honeymoon last year and this xmas  ). A band is far more sensible, it's realistic and allows for natural daily fluctuations.

Yes you should. Get 'em posted!!! :D

Missyg: I own tooooo many. I have nearly one bra for anything, and given the chance i would buy more tomorrow. Knickers are even worse, especially if theyre cheap. I have a bag of stuff reserved at work, its got a pack of knickers (6 pairs) for £1.85, and that makes them super cool. Then theres socks, of which i have loads, then theres hoisery, suspender belts i never wear, about 10 or so sleepwear pieces. Countless amounts of slippers.

My mum laughs because i have all of that, but i still have two nighties that i have owned since i was a child that i always wear. I look gay as in them, one has holes in even but they are soooo good. Ive got 2 sets of pj's but i never wear the bottoms, i have loads of cami and short sets, but i never wear the shorts :p Im just awful when it comes to this sort of thing!

Oh and missyg you didnt lose a two cup sizes, you just went down a back size and a cup. Im all bra'd out :p

Anic: I hope you get fitted regularly, sadly buying online is not the best of options because then there is no one there to check your fit. Which is rubbish because at that size its the most important thing ever.

anyway NEIGHBOURS is on soon woooo hooo. Totally properly excited.

    Calloo Callay!!!!

I have lost 3.5 pounds this week! First weigh in of a new month and only 1.5 pounds left to lose! More to the point 12% of my planned weight loss for the year has gone!!!!

I have read all the pages (was unable to get on over the weekend) hugs to those that need them, welcome to the newbies and huzzahs to all!
Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup :D

  • Pixiedust, I was a former hooker in my younger days when my knees were better, I doubt I could survive there now. I might have a look at going loose as well as tight to open up the options. What do you think?? ;)

Well I'm currently playing all three (not at the same time obviously - that *would* be impressive!)... Variety and all that... ;) Seriously, the sooner the coach on this team lets us start teaching real rugby to the newbies the better! We started teaching tackling last night... First time ever for 9 out of the 12 girls there. I'm dreading moving on to working on scrums with them!!

Vix, I can understand why that really is the answer to everything! Shame about the colour choices though... I always get so bored at the thought of plain black and white underwear lol (Really... My underwear drawer looks like a rainbow...)

Ajax, that line would have kept me giggling for days. Sadly, their reaction just reinforces my belief that anyone who would want to be studying any kind of science is absolutely no fun at all :P

Anyone who's thinking about going to see St Trinians really really should - kept me, fussy male friend, and 2 teenagers all happy - got to be a good thing!

Am being very very good with the food this week - its my birthday friday and (don't laugh) i'm on camp for the weekend. Great way to spend the weekend, but will involve too much drink and probably too much food as well. Will-power can only go so far at your own birthday party! Speaking of which... I don't suppose anyone knows of where I can find calorie levels for various drinks? The books I've seen tend to only list spirits, and that's handy, but I'm more of a pint girl to be honest.... :p

Alcohol on your birthday is zero calories pixie, a completely free food. I dunno how it works but it's true.

For days other than your birthday, here's a decent list.
