Thanks you little SOTW you :D fingers crossed you hit your 100 pound marker next week, I will keep a seat warm for you when you return from the land od Oz

As an aside I forgot to mention that last night I purchased my very first (for donkeys years) t shirt which does not have an X in the size, Im now a Large :T and I bought 38inch waist jeans for the first time in ages too. Not bad for a former circus tent wearing XXXXXL or 48/50inch jeans. I might even have smiled a wee tad :D

Almost forgot had a sneaky weigh this morning & have lost 1 1/4 lb of the 2lbs i put on over xmas not sure how cos i had home made burger & chips with a huge dollop of mayo for tea last night.

Hi emma - I'm not sure if this is an 'oficial' weight loss for the chart that I should be logging down, or you will include in an 'official' weigh in later in the week.
This is absolutely not a criticism peeps, but this occasionally happens with others too: could peeps make it clear if any weighloss logged on the forum is for me to note for the chart. Thanks:D .
Well done on the maintain suggs - hope that encourages you vs a vs being able to relax for a special occasion and still maintain.
Grannynise - turning 40 is sooooo last year.
So many newbies!! Sorry I can't welcome you all by name. If any of you want to partake in our monthly 5lb challenge and be included in our weekly chart, just read post 1 to find out more about what this is and then just post your request to join on the forum and I'll pick it up as I'm doing the chart this month. Us regulars here find it really helps as an additional motivation, and breaks down larger targets in to smaller achievable chunks.
Haven't heard from petrichor this week - hope you're ok pet and haven't come down with any of these lurgies that are lying around
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Hope you intened to stay as L and not go lower suggs! L is such a ncie size! My boyfriend is about the same size as you, 36/38 but he is a MASSIVE eater, once he hits 30 it will hit him i know it.

ajax, no man or woman wants a skinny man. My best mate is skinny and he has no meat on him what so ever. I would squash him if i ever found myself on top of him (which i wouldnt) obviously :p

Real hardcore bit of meat on the bones is what men are all about. lovelly Jubbly.

Vix - Weight watchers is around £5 per week. THere's also a £14 registration fee on your first week.

Of course, if you live in Scotland, Wales or England you can get free registration with the voucher from this month's weightwatchers magazine. I've also seen free registration vouchers from time to time in the tabloid newspapers.

As ajax said, there's some quite nice choccy bars that you can buy at the class but if you're fairly sure you'll be able to follow the points plan on your own I'd advise saving some money and buying the books on e-bay or buying the WW magazine, getting free registration and going for a week or two and see how it suits you. You don't normally have the full collection of books until you're there about 5 weeks but all your really need is the kickstart book and the main WW book and points calculator - so 2-3 weeks should get you that.
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.

My apologies for talking so much today. People are probably sick to death of me but ive spent the last three days glued solid to this thing, and this is about the only level of verbal communication ive had since! minus the evenings obv.

... when I went to Slimming World classes there were all sorts there from the extremely large through to the (seriously) slim. Two girls who were too slim for my liking went because they wanted to lose half a stone each for their holiday. They were both only just about allowed to join!! The classes are there for everyone who wants to lose weight, not just the obese.

As for talking, well.... it is a weight loss forum, you know. Pretty pointless being silent in a forum :)

BB sorry to confuse you lovely! its not an official wi, I should have said, I'll post that on Wednesday I was just pleased that some of the xmas gain had come off already & had to tell someone, my 2 year old gives me strange looks & laughs at me if i suddenly dance round the room after jumping off the scales especially now that i had some new scales for xmas & can weigh at home. I tended to get strange looks dancing round boots so had to contain it a bit.
Life is like a box of chocs ..... i've got a soft centre but I ate the whole box.
