Ajax's recipe was fine with courgettes instead of aubergines .... mr GN said 'very tasty' which is a compliment of the highest order :j . I'm taking it for lunch tomorrow too as it should reheat.
Vixarooni .... yes I am and yes people do put on a show when they're being observed (wouldn't we all?) so it makes it even worse when they're still awful.
What a lot of babies you all are, born in 1968! Now I'm feeling very old as well as fat.0 -
Hi all
I think I need to come looking on here everyday for now as as soon as I'm off I go off track again.
Ended up baking today... smartie cookies, white chocolate and cranberry cookies, apple and cinnamon muffins... did use splenda instead of suger and the lowest fat marg I could find but still... not gonna be very good for weight loss me thinks.
Have also done rice pudding with sultanas and apples...using splenda and skimmed milk to try and be good whilst kids and OH eat the other goodies...
I would love to be put on the chart, my weight loss to date is 24lb. I will try the monthly challenge too, what is the target and by when???

I feel like i should say, "good morning grannynise, good morning everyone!" ha i miss those days. Are you a primary or secondary head? How exciting. Can you sack that teacher? I thought about going into teaching once, but then i thought no, because in the 16 years of education ive experienced thus far i can count how many good teachers ive had on one hand. I swear part of the reason im so rubbish at maths is the humiliation i was put through during primary and secondary school having to stand up and work out things i couldnt work out so i looked a dumbarse in front of everyone. Anyway, sorry my rant is over ha, i tell people everything me.
I bought some scales for £3.39 (20% off and then i was overcharged so the money back from that) They are BRIGHT pink. Apparently i weigh 10stome 4lbs on them, so ive either lost 3lbs and my other dodgy scales didnt show it, or they are wrong aswell!0 -
Grrrrrrr! - I just was in the middle of a post and it all disappeared:mad:
Quick catch up before bed - although it is snowing so heavily here we may be grounded on the runway tomorrow. Have made 4 wholemeal rolls with bacon for the flight - I know bread isn't Core but it has to be better than airport food - BTW there are 4 of us - there're not all for me:D
Debtdummy what do you use for dairy free? My best thing is the lactofree milk - tastes exactly normal in tea. I cheat and count it as skimmed on the Core(it's semi really) but because I can't have the soft cheese, yoghurts etc I'm sure it evens out.
I made the sweet and sour pork from the new WW magazine tonight and it was delish. Dh said he would definitely eat it again - which is always a good sign. I've done out a meal planner for the next week and bought all the stuff - and I've got some of those little bottles of white wine for me so I'm not tempted by another glass - this is war this time!!!!!
Have a good weekend - I've packed my food list, new magazine and the Eating Out guide so I should be prepared! Will report in on Monday (unless we get snowed in)

Evening all. Hope you are all well. Reporting in. Been to get weighed today and the 3lb that I put on over Chrimbo has come off. Yey. Also just been for a swim (had to pool to myself -even better!) Also been looking a round the sales, but refuse to buy anything as it will not fit me in a couple of months (I am so determined!) Come on all, and lets have a good week.0

thriftmonster would you mind posting the recipe for this on here sometime, I have tried lots of low fat sweet and sour sauce jars and some low fat micro meals and I still haven't found one I really like yet, and I do so love a chinese!
My first day went ok felt a little hungry but I know it will pass after a week or so as my voluminous stomach starts to shrink a little!! Looking forward to joining the gym next friday and being able to have a good workout and swim........hmm and maybe a sauna........lolGoal weight....lighter than when I started0 -

Vix! Where did you get bright pink scales from? I'd be tempted to buy a pair if they came in pink... lol.
Taking my little sister into London tomorrow, to see Avenue Q! Am horribly over-excited, but a day out with the munchkin normally involves far too much food... That child can eat for England! (and still be a size 8. i don't like teenagers!) Maybe I can distract her with all the shopping...**"Cheer up, it could get worse" - I cheered up, and look, it got worse!**0
