Morning, everyone
Anic - glad to find someone else who's going to be 40 in January - I have till the 30th - although it's not bothering me too much either. Just had an omelette for brekkie (with Frylight), planning on a jacket spud with tuna for lunch and waiting for inspiration to hit for dinner - really need to crack on with this meal planner.
Going to England tomorrow - so have to negotiate several meals out and food at the MIL's. Ds1 and I are both lactose intolerant which she finds hard to get her head round - "nothing with milk in" still produces responses like "well what about cream/ cheese?". I shall take my Ryvita and my Eating out Guide and hope to do my best.
Have a good weekend.“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

hiya
i have been on slimfast for about 4 months and have so far lost 2 and a half stone, still two more to go but i've not found it too bad. i have 3 kids and find that i don't have to think about breakfast or lunch and then we just have a low fat meal for tea. i'm really pleased with how i've done, but have been taking plenty of exercise which i never did before.
Hey Moo,
This gives me hope, thanks! I've just popped up to the shops and Superdrug have Slim Fast on BOGOF at the moment. Bargain! I thought about getting the snack bars and stuff, but I thought for the price of them, I can get a couple of bags of apples and pears. They'll last longer. They also have a 1/3 off nictotine gum, but I think that's another thread.
I've had my first Slim Fast for breakfast, mmm chocolate. Somehow it just feels strange that this is actually my breakfast, a chocolate milkshake. They taste nice but sort of "wheaty", and really fills you up but not in that awful bloated way. Hopefully this is the start of something good.
I have just taken my "Day 1" pictures for my photoblog on Facebook. Oh my God! Although I have been feeling my trousers getting tighter and tighter, I hadn't actually seen the full length "me". Mirrors can be deceiving! I think I'll put a picture on the fridge as a deterrent.
Feeling good about this though, bring it on!
