Hi everyone.
Brighton Belle, I would love to join up to the challenge, unfortunately I have no access to weighing scales, I will be getting some soon. From the last time I weighed myself, I would say I am about 14 stone 2 and I haven't lost anything yet, so you can start me on zero.
Thanks...

BB I didn't pay full attention to your post, I'm sorry ... I ignored the instruction to start at the 19th December. So I've only put on 1lb since then, the total is the same as I originally posted though, 23.5 lb. Now that sounds even more confusing.
Well done to the losers (you clever people!) and the maintainers.
Isn't lovely to see some familiar names appearing again, I wondered where you all were.
Efrieze, could you just do your next weigh with no clothes on? Well maybe a bikini? That should ensure that you surpass your goal before the trip.0 -
Sadly brighton belle, it is a no loss what so ever since i have started. Im hoping for good things this week. Done 1239 steps on my stepper, but ive only given myself a half hour break before i gotta get cracking with my assignment before my boyfriend and parents return home!0

Hiya
There is still the tin of Cadburys Hero's sealed and untouched (but drooled over) on the table!!
Christmas and the New Year is finally over. I do hope we are all well. A big welcome to the all the Newbies and the OldbiesHugs to BB and Delly, Trust all ok with MrsA Ajax, missyg behave yourself, Petrichor how you doing
Victory, stop dreaming about me, Efrieze, "You Can and Will do it :T" Sorry hundreds of posts and Im meant to be working. Hope your doing ok Bails, Hello Vix
Had as good a Christmas as one can expect, MrsS bought me a posh set of scales, that weighs to one decimal place, and measures body fat, body water, muscle mass, bone structure and density. So measurements have been done, yes have gained, but weighin is on Friday for me, so just going to have to wait. My children were with me for 5 days and it was pretty good, its the eldest daughters 16th birthday this Saturday as is my mothers 65th!! So more presents and sorting myself out.
Healthwise, I didnt go to the gym for two whole weeks, the Bronchitis did take hold and I wont go to the gym if the Children are here, so Monday was the first day back and I will be going back in tomorrow. Not sure if I mentioned it, but in my last rugby match I dislocated my little finger, well just back from A&E as swelling didnt go down, turns out I had torn the ligiments in my fingerwhich means no rugby for at least two more weeks, funny how the little finger can be such trouble
Right now you know I am back, I hope you missed me and if you did miss me, a little advice...............take better aim next time :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Back soon phone is a ringing

Well, just 1 lb is superb granny!
QT - no problem - I've put you on the chart (look out for it this evening). Quite a few are starting at zero this week so you'll be in good company.
Anic - I reckon that 3lb gain will soon come off. You have done so well to loose 2st since Sept, there is no way you are going to stop now. Enjoy the meal Saturday - see today as day 1 and sat as part of the 20%/80%
Granny - I always weigh in the nud, don't you? Obviously, not while I was going to SW classes:eek: . I've stopped the classes now. Not intentionally, but I haven't been able to drive for 6 weeks and I have now passed my SW target, (though not my personal one) and there is no way I'm paying for the last missed 6 weeks. I reckon I can go it alone now with you peeps.Doing the classes for 6 months was really worth it for me though - gave me that extra incentive, and thorough ingrained the plan in to my head, but I think I've out grown them now.
Vix - you have done brilliantly to not put any on over Xmas. You could easily not have bothered to start at all until now but you did and it has paid off.If you can manage that then you will definitely start losing once life get backs to normal. You have also been improving your fitness which is just as important.
Great to have you back suggs. Yes you were missed - several posts asking where you where. If you hadn't posted today I would have sent the St Benards out. Sorry you've been poorly. Has it felt ok not getting to the gym for 2 weeks?
ANIC I've just got your PM - no worries, easy to change!I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Hey Ajax, good to see ya buddy! :hello: I'm liking your new year's resolutions too
Grannynise, you've made me twitchy that I've done it wrong now as well, but I can't remember what I was on 19th Dec (think 12st) - anyway, my figures still stand at 7.5 total loss now and 0.5 lost this week (or since 19th!).
Welcome to taffy1969, you've found a wonderful and supportive thread; we'll do all we can to help you. Anic, don't worry about what's done, concentrate on now and the future. If you can plan around the inevitable extra eating, I'm sure things won't be too bad. And well done for being philosophical about not reaching your birthday target - as you say, you have still done fantastically well and 2008 will be your year! Poohbear, could you ask your family to buy you something else instead? It doesn't have to cost much and if you explain how important it is, I'm sure they'd be glad to find you something else. Well done Vix on the maintain, go girl! Hi to Missy, QT, Serendis and anyone else out there who may be lurking - come on in and join us! Where's Suggs? And anyone heard from Lois?
Feeling the need to eat today, nothing emotional just seem to be hungry! Been for a walk and have switched my houmous for the half fat version - it used to taste funny but think it may just have been a bad batch as this one is yummy! Will get round to making my own again eventually...maybe...:D
Missy, love your new sig! Can I ask how you saved the 7+K? As you can see, I'm doing a similar thing this year so all tips gratefully received!
EDIT: snap BB! Oh and there's Suggs, woo hoo! I always weigh in the nud too but I think people might get some strange looks in BootsThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Actually, i did weigh in with no clothes on this morning and i was 1.5 lbs lower than i 'declared' today but then got dressed and reweighed in more and didn't think it right to compare now unclothed to the before weight of clothed. I have already 'cheated' a bit in that in the early months, I think I wore my work jacket as i didn't want to draw attention to myself weighing in at my desk!!! I think it is a reasonable thing to do. I remember years ago when i first did WW that I always went in the same clothes and slowly I woudl wear less and less. By the end I think I went without underwear on under my t-shirt and leggings! I was only 12 though, so not too outrageous!!!!!0 -

You've got it right bails. The 19th Dec list of totals lost that I re put up this morning is your starting point. So If you know for sure that you total loss now is 7.5lbs, than you know you have lost .5lb since 19th Dec, even i you went up and down several times in between. Asking peeps to list their total lost this time has been really helpul for me becasue it has helped iron out any small errors that have crept in.
Hoping to hear WI's today from Emmalis (who hasn't been on or a while -hope you are ok Emma) Starlight, The Dragon, Retired lady and Victory(only if you have an update Vic, otherwise I'll use the figures you gave the other day)I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
