Hiya Denbo, and welcome! It's still a little quiet on here from the hols but give it a few days and you'll be fighting to get a word in
Nah, seriously, everyone is lovely on here and dead helpful so we can help you shift the weight this year.
BB, you're on the Simplify thread too? I didn't see you yet or are you just browsing? You can sneak up on me any time, always nice to see my mates! Still interested to hear what other threads peeps are on...
Victory, your dream made me laugh! Wonder if Suggs had the same one?? Like your mantra and you're right, it's about so much more than WL. The toad comment had me in stitches too, I hope you can get your numbers down for tonight. The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Nah, I was just having a nose after you listed what you had challenged yourself to do this year. I always love the sense of lightness and well being I get when I have a declutter burst so I look up the simplify thread first, to see what else it entailed ( and to check you weren't going to desert us of course: got to keep an eye on the competition :rotfl: ).
I've had a laugh this aternoon reading the 'worst xmas present I got' thread. ONe woman's 4 yr old was thrilled to get face paints from an elderly rellie and spent the day painting everyone. It wasn't til bedtime that they were horriied to discover nothing would take the paint off:eek: . So her husband had to go to work the next day with a black pirates patch painted on, and rosy cheeks like aunt sally in worzel gummige :rotfl: . My worst this year was from my (very well off) bro and sis-in-law. A vanilla cardboard car airfreshner () and a route map/book on how to walk the south downs way - and anyone who knows anything about my medical historyand / or knows me will appreciate this is one of my dreams that I have not been able to realise in 20 years, and in my current state seems even less likely :rotfl:
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Ha ha, I won't be going anywhere don't worry! I love the sound of that thread about the Christmas presents, will have to check that out. My bubble bath 3 years in a row pales into insignificance in light of yours though - bless them!:mad:The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Welcome denbo! Hope the support from here helps you. If you search on the net you can find out what your ideal weight should be, use it as a guide because its all body shape depending in my opinion. Id never get to my ideal weight being pear shaped, no weight will ever budge from my hips!
Happy New Year to everyone. I hope this year will bring health, happiness and lots of lbs flooding away! Its going to be tough im sure but once out the other side we will wonder what all the fuss was about.
Sale shopping update: I bought a quilt cover and pillows for a double bed for £4 from dunelms! How amazing. But they overcharged me £2 so i gotta go back tomorrow and while i am there i might invest in a decent pair of scales. Is it the more expensive the more accurate? I dont think i'll get one with a digital display like mine is currently, its blimming awful that thing! Then i might be able to partake in the weekly loss chart!0 -
