  • Its ok, I'm focusing on the many very attractive men that are on tv over Christmas, instead of the food... Currently sat drooling over Captain Jack Sparrow... ;)

And Santa's on his way! For all those who aren't about tomorrow (I will be, I'll have to escape the family "celebrations" at some point!), have a great day and ENJOY :)

    Good morning all.

Aw it looks lovely - it's all wrapped up like pink Christmas cracker - it looks to nice to open.

The card says it's from Secret Santa - oops - was I not meant to put my name on the present? I did - sorry - just ignore it if you see it.

Oh there is wee label on the envelope - so thanks Marion from Romford - Is that you Retiredlady?

Back to the pressie. Why did you have to wrap it so nicely - I feel guilding opening it now.

Right - I've opened it as neatly as I can at one end.

Oh - wow - I am impressed - a cover/sock for my ipod with two miniature bottles of Burberry perfumes in it and a candy cane. action-smiley-033.gif

Thank you so much Marion - I am really pleased with my secret santa (and thanks to BB for organising it all).

Hope eveyone else is too. I better go now as I am going to be late for work now. I'll log in later and see what everyone else gets.

    Merry Christmas everyone.

Oh I am so glad you liked it Anic! I have been so excited reading your postings ever since you received it! Have a Merry Christmas. :j :T

    Merry xmas everybody!
Wow, starlight - 9 stone is a superb milestone! And to reach it on xmas too!!:T :T WELL DONE!
Hope you are feeling better Julesgr. Xmas when rough is no fun at all!

Well I am not even counting the calories I've had today (far too many of them liquid so counting skills limited anyway:o ) but it has been fun. Will try to be better tomorrow but an awful lot of leftovers around....

DD has painted my Secret Santa bankie but has claimed it for herself so it is going in her room to replace her old one which is rather babyish for her now.

Hope everyone is having a lovely day and xmas has been all they hoped for.

    Love Katyk
  • Hi folks,

Hope you all had a wonderful day. Congratulations Sandy on reaching that terrific milestone on Christmas day. 3lbs off at Christmas is a fantastic achievement of willpower and motivation. You're an example to us all.

I had a mini weigh in last night (a day early) and managed to STS this week so I'm happy with that.

Despite the illness we had a good day today. It was our first Christmas at home since DS was born. It was such a change to serve myself a decent portion and eat it in peace without having to dive to get stuff or get up and sort out DS in another room. It was brilliant this morning as it was the first year that he really understood about Santa., but the tonsilitis has knocked him for six and he was too tired to eat his dinner. It took us an hour and a half to bring him round after his nap today. We called over to my Mum's house afterwards and ended up staying till 9 pm!

I haven't thought about what I'm eating at all, just enjoying the day. Tomorrow is another day mostly at home, we may go visiting later depending on how DS is but I'll definitely be counting points and the 8pm rule is back in force tomorrow.
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.
